A few days ago, I unwrapped a Rose Yogi Tea bag and found a simple question on the little tag attached to it:
"WHO AM I AND WHAT AM I DOING?"
The question stayed with me.
Not because I haven't asked it before.
But because at this point in my life, it feels less like a question to answer and more like an invitation to remember.
🌈 To Recognise.
🌈 To Accept.
🌈 To Belong more fully to myself.
🌈 To honour my journey with Integrity.
🌈 To deepen my connection with Mother Nature & Mother Rose
🌈 To take Ownership of the gifts I've been entrusted to share.
🌈 And perhaps, ultimately, to embrace a greater sense of Wholeness.
As I reflected on that question, I began looking back over the threads woven throughout my life.
🙏 Thirty years teaching Modern Foreign Languages.
🙏 Nine years presenting a Health & Healing radio show.
🙏 More than a decade immersed in the transformative world of Colour Mirrors
🙏 3 years consistently embracing and translating the fascinating language of Human Design
🙏 Published books, workshops, heart circles, community projects, storytelling, emotional wellbeing, the RAINBOW Method, Bernie & the Tree of Belonging, intergenerational healing, children, parenting, families and lifelong learning...
For years, I thought these were separate chapters.
Now I see they are all part of the same story.
A story of gathering wisdom.
And learning how to translate it.
I have come to realise that one of the ways I serve is by helping others transform complex ideas into meaningful experiences they can understand, explore and apply in their own lives.
Not because I have all the answers.
But because I have spent years walking the path myself.
And perhaps nowhere has this been more evident than in my relationship with Colour Mirrors.
I still remember the first time I saw the bottles lined up before me. Something stirred that I couldn't explain it logically. I was fascinated. Drawn in. Captivated. It felt less like discovering something new and more like remembering a language I had somehow always known.
A language that had been patiently waiting for me to recognise it.
What followed was not simply study. It was relationship.
Exploration.
Experience.
Transformation.
A deepening understanding of myself and the world around me through the language of Colour.
Today, I finally understand something important.
I am a Gatherer of Colour Wisdom.
A Translator of Esoteric Language.
And after years of living, practising, teaching and sharing this work, I feel called to stand more visibly in service to those who feel a similar resonance.
Those who are seeking greater self-awareness.
Those who are learning to trust themselves.
Those who are longing for a deeper sense of belonging.
Those who are ready to honour their own unique gifts.
Those who feel colour calling them, whether for their personal journey, their professional path, or both.
Because one thing I have learned is this:
The more we invest in understanding ourselves, the more we enrich our relationships, our creativity, our work, our communities and the lives of those we touch... and the wider COLLECTIVE!
Perhaps that is how we create meaningful change.
One person.
One insight.
One colour.
One courageous step at a time.
