In kids yoga, meditation doesn’t have to mean sitting perfectly still. It can be rainbow breathing, listening to calming sounds, mindful movement, or simply taking a quiet moment to notice how we feel ☁️

These small mindful moments can help children build focus, confidence, emotional awareness, and resilience as they grow. Sometimes just one deep breath can change the whole day 🌈

Did you know bees communicate through a special “waggle dance” and help pollinate around a third of the food we eat? 🌼🍓

Teaching children about bees is such a lovely way to encourage curiosity, care for nature, and mindfulness. We’ve loved learning more through building our own little bee hives, attending the apiary, and taking part in a beekeeping course with Tommy 🐝💛

Watching bees quietly at work is such a calming, mindful activity to enjoy together — helping children slow down, observe, breathe, and connect with the world around them.

In children’s yoga we often use Bee Breath to help children feel calm and focused too 🧘‍♀️✨

💚 Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 💚
This year’s theme is all about connection, community, and taking small positive actions to support our mental wellbeing — and children can learn these skills in fun, simple ways every day 🌱

Here are a few gentle ideas to try with little ones:
✨ Rainbow breathing — trace a rainbow shape in the air while taking slow calming breaths
✨ Feelings check-ins — use colours, emojis, or weather words to talk about emotions
✨ Kindness challenge — encourage children to do one kind thing for someone else
✨ Nature moments — go for a mindful walk and notice 5 things you can see or hear
✨ Yoga & movement — stretching, balancing, and breathing can help children feel calm, confident, and connected
✨ Pause moments — even 30 seconds of stillness can help busy minds reset

Mental wellbeing doesn’t have to mean big conversations — often it’s the little everyday moments of movement, listening, play, rest, laughter, and connection that make the biggest difference 💚

Feel Good Friday at School

It was such a wonderful visit ✨

We spent time exploring our bodies through yoga—stretching, balancing, noticing how we move, and having plenty of giggles along the way 💜

It’s always so special watching the children full of energy at the start, then slowly releasing and sinking into their relaxation by the end… I might have even had to gently wake one or two from relaxation at the end 🤭

Already looking forward to being back soon.

🌿 Happy Earth Day! 🌿

We celebrated Earth Day in our children’s yoga sessions — a beautiful reminder to love, protect, and care for our amazing planet 💚

Through movement, play, and imagination, the children became strong trees 🌳, tall mountains ⛰️, buzzing bees 🐝, and flowing rivers 💧 — connecting their bodies to the world around them in such a magical way.

We talked about how even small actions can make a big difference — like being kind to nature, looking after animals, and taking care of our environment 🌎

One of the loveliest moments? Watching them go from full energy and giggles… to completely calm, still, and peaceful in relaxation — like the quiet earth at rest 🌙

So lovely to be part of such a fantastic day! 💜
It was a joy to offer some relaxing yoga sessions and see leaders taking a little time to unwind in between all the fun. Thank you to everyone at Girlguiding Cymru and Girlguiding Pembrokeshire for the warm welcome – such an inspiring event filled with energy, friendship and confidence. 🧘‍♀️✨

And well done to everyone involved in making it such a brilliant day!
