Ancient practices. Modern insights. A more mindful connection with your body.

Reiki and crystal practices can create a calming pause in the day, supporting the shift from fight-or-flight towards the body’s natural rest-and-digest state.

And with health wearables such as Oura, you can explore how your relaxation rituals may relate to measurable signals like HRV, resting heart rate, sleep and recovery.

Your wearable tracks the signals. Your practice creates the space. You discover what helps you feel your best!

SEPTEMBER IS SEPSIS AWARENESS MONTH
we always think it wont be us but…

SEPSIS CAN DEVELOP QUICKLY

Sepsis is a life-threatening response to infection and can worsen within hours.

⚠️ Know the signs. Act quickly.

If someone becomes suddenly very unwell, confused, breathless, unusually cold, or develops mottled/discoloured skin:

DON’T WAIT — GET HELP

📞 Call 111 if you’re worried about an infection.
🚨 Call 999 if they have serious symptoms or are rapidly deteriorating.

JUST ASK: “COULD IT BE SEPSIS?”

New Paper Alert! Published in the Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network by Jeremy McGuire et al., the randomized pilot study "Feasibility and Efficacy of Reiki Versus Massage for Cancer-Related Fatigue in Patients With Breast and Prostate Cancer Receiving Hormone Therapy" evaluated the feasibility and preliminary effectiveness of Reiki compared with massage therapy for reducing cancer-related fatigue in 87 patients with breast cancer receiving aromatase inhibitors or prostate cancer receiving androgen deprivation therapy. Participants were assigned to two massage sessions, two Reiki sessions, or four Reiki sessions. All three interventions significantly reduced fatigue, with improvements sustained at the 10-week follow-up; however, Reiki produced larger within-group effect sizes than massage, particularly the four-session Reiki regimen, which showed the greatest reductions in overall fatigue, worst fatigue, and fatigue-related interference with daily life. Although differences between the treatment groups were not statistically significant, the findings suggested a possible dose-response effect, with greater benefits from four Reiki sessions. The authors concluded that both Reiki and massage are safe and feasible approaches for managing cancer-related fatigue, with Reiki showing particularly promising results that warrant confirmation in larger, adequately powered clinical trials.

1st September is our RETURN month

There’s something about September that always feels like a reset.

Summer can be full — late nights, busy days, plans, people, being out and about. And then suddenly September arrives and I find myself craving something different.

A little more quiet.
A little more grounding.
A little more time to myself.

So this September, we wanted to create a space around RETURN — coming back to yourself after a busy summer, slowing down and checking in with what you actually need.

Think restorative treatments, grounding crystals, candles to bring a little calm into your evenings, and journals for getting your thoughts out of your head and onto paper.

Nothing complicated. Just small things that help you feel a little more like you again.

Welcome to Ordinary Magic—a new weekly snapshot of the tiny, unpolished moments that brought me back to my body this week. Every week, I’ll be sharing a quick reel of my own micro-joys and grounding pauses. No perfection, no hustle, just proof that magic is already hiding in the ordinary.

We live in a culture that tells us peace is a luxury requiring elaborate routines, expensive tools, or hours of free time we simply don't have. But the nervous system doesn't know the difference between a grand escape and three seconds of genuinely noticing the warmth of a mug in your hands.

Sometimes, our symptoms can invite us to slow down, become more aware, and listen more deeply to what we’re experiencing...

Sometimes, our symptoms can invite us to slow down, become more aware, and listen more deeply to what we’re experiencing.

Yet so often, we spend years simply trying to silence or get rid of our symptoms without pausing to ask what our experience might be showing us.

What if, alongside asking, “Why is this happening to me?”, you also began asking:

✨ What is my body asking me to notice?
✨ What might this experience be teaching me about myself?
✨ How can I support myself more deeply through this?

Listening to your body doesn’t mean ignoring medical care or searching for a hidden meaning behind every symptom. It means becoming curious about the whole of your experience—physical, emotional, mental, energetic and spiritual.

Sometimes, the questions we ask can change the way we relate to what we’re going through.

Our symptoms don’t have to be seen only as something to fear or fight. They can also become an invitation to slow down, develop greater self-awareness, and explore what we may need more of—or less of—in our lives.

What might your body be inviting you to notice right now?
