Sophie has done amazing. 🤩 she attends Anne’s group on a Saturday morning. Bravo Sophie 👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊🥰🥰🥰

This is the Tyneside mum who shed five stone to break a vicious cycle of comfort eating and set an inspiring example for her daughters. 👏🏋️‍♀️

Sophie Scott, 46, from Earsdon, reached 16st 10lbs and found herself struggling with her physical and mental health. The admin assistant revealed how she relied on weekly takeaways, processed freezer meals, and sweet treats to get through difficult moments, leaving her feeling unhappy and stuck in a rut🥺.

Opening up about her lowest points, Sophie admitted: "Being overweight made me feel miserable and stuck in a rut. My clothes were getting tighter, I didn't feel comfortable in what I was wearing and I was constantly complaining that I had nothing to wear, even though my wardrobe was full.

"The more I ate, the more miserable I became, and the more miserable I felt, the more I ate. It was a vicious circle that I desperately needed to break." 💔😔

Determined to make a lasting change for herself and her family, Sophie decided to re-join Slimming World. She wanted to prioritize her health and ensure her grown-up daughters saw a positive model for self-care.

"They were growing up and becoming adults, and I didn't want them to see being overweight, unhappy and inactive as the norm. I wanted to set a better example for them and show them that it's never too late to make a change and prioritise your health and happiness." 🏋️‍♀️💚

Through complete dedication, Sophie turned her life around. She swapped convenient junk food for nutritious, home-cooked meals packed with vegetables and lean protein, cut out alcohol, and embraced an active lifestyle. 🥗🏃‍♀️

Now weighing 11st 10lbs, she has dropped from a size 18 to a size 12 and feels better than ever.

"I was determined that I wasn't going to give up on myself again. Looking back now, losing the weight has given me so much more than a smaller number on the scales, it's given me a healthier, happier and more active life."
