Yesterday, our resident enjoyed making their very own delicious biscuit treats. They had lots of fun getting creative in the kitchen, and once they were ready, they sat back and enjoyed their homemade treats with a lovely cup of tea. 💕

🎶 What a lovely afternoon with Mark! 🎶
Mark came to the home with his banjo and guitar, treating our residents to a fantastic afternoon of live music and great songs. 🪕🎸
Our residents absolutely loved it — singing along, dancing and even doing a few moves to the music! 💃🕺❤️
It was wonderful to see so many smiles and everyone joining in and enjoying the live entertainment together.

🐝✨ Our Busy Bee Activity Trolley Was a Buzzing Success! ✨🐝

Our residents had a fantastic time enjoying our Busy Bee Activity Trolley, packed full of fun, games and engaging activities to brighten everyone’s day. 💛

From puzzles and crafts to sensory activities and friendly chats, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was wonderful to see so many smiles, laughter and residents spending quality time together while keeping active and engaged.

At Orchard Mews, we love finding new ways to bring activities directly to our residents, encouraging independence, social interaction and plenty of happy moments along the way.

Our ladies and families enjoyed a wonderful afternoon together at Orchard Mews, filled with plenty of tea, delicious cakes, laughter and great conversation. 💕

It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to relax, catch up with friends, make new memories and enjoy each other’s company in a warm and welcoming setting.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special. We always love seeing our residents smiling and creating moments to cherish.

🍪✨ A sweet afternoon of creativity! ✨🍪

Our residents had a wonderful time getting creative with some delicious cookie decorating! From colourful icing to sprinkles and sweet treats, everyone enjoyed designing their own unique creations.

Activities like these are a fantastic way to encourage creativity, social interaction, and plenty of laughter—plus there’s the added bonus of enjoying a tasty treat afterwards! 😋

It was lovely to see everyone’s personalities shine through their colourful designs, making for another fun-filled day and some very happy smiles.

Our morning exercise classes are a fantastic way for residents to stay active, improve their strength and mobility, and most importantly, have fun together! 😊

From gentle stretches to seated exercises, every session is tailored to suit all abilities, helping to boost confidence, wellbeing, and independence in a friendly and supportive environment.

There’s always plenty of smiles, laughter, and encouragement as we keep moving together! ❤️

Our residents had a fantastic time today enjoying a fun game of bean bag toss! 🎯🫘

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition as everyone took turns aiming for the target and scoring points. Activities like these are a wonderful way to keep active, encourage coordination, and, most importantly, have fun together.
