I’ve always been one of those people who tries not to take life too seriously... and yes, I will sometimes laugh or smile at the most inappropriate moment 🤦‍♀️😂

Not because I don’t care...
I just think life is a lot easier when you realise that not everything is within our control

Things happen... people do things... plans go sideways... and sometimes all you can do is take a breath, have a laugh and carry on 😜

🌿✨ OUT THERE, SOMEWHERE... 🌍👣

I find myself at the age of 54 frustrated that my creative brain is stagnating... 😳🧠

My life has always been about art, photos, nature, travelling, music 🎨📸🌿✈️🎶 and noticing the small things that are actually BIG things for me...

That amazing sunrise 🌅...
That ladybug on a leaf 🐞🍃...
That unusual cloud formation ☁️...
That elderly couple holding hands 🧡👵🏼👴🏼...

These are the things that keep me loving life ❤️🌍 ... even when life can be very challenging at times.

The majority of my career has been about leadership, sales and marketing 💼📈 ... which means I need growth, creativity and something to feed my curious brain to keep my soul fulfilled... 🧠✨🧡

So this personal blog is my little space to be creative, explore, experience and document the memorable and fascinating moments that I store in my brain... and somehow NEED to express 📸🌿🎶👣

Exploring and experiencing are key to my sanity... 😜🌍💥

Because the PAIN of my existence is that I simply CANNOT SIT STILL... 😂👣

Putting a visit to the viaduct on my 🪣 list 😃 for sure

Now this is a proper viaduct.

Crimple Valley Viaduct sweeps across the countryside just south of Harrogate with 31 arches, stretching for more than half a kilometre and rising to around 110 feet above the valley. Completed in 1848 during the great railway expansion associated with George Hudson, it’s now Grade II* listed and still carries trains on the Harrogate Line.

Nearly 180 years later it still completely dominates the landscape - exactly the sort of Victorian engineering that deserves to be seen from an angle like this.
