Something as simple as sharing a Chinese and helping someone set up their new phone might not seem huge but to someone who needs that support, it can make a real difference ❤️

Tea & Time has given me a sense of purpose. Knowing that my service users feel heard, understood and supported reminds me exactly why I started.

Sometimes helping someone else can save a life and sometimes it helps you find your own purpose too☕️🕰️

Sometimes you just need a little reminder of why you started ❤️

Receiving messages like this genuinely means more to me than people probably realise. Tea & Time was never just about starting a business for me I wanted to create something where people could feel comfortable, listened to, supported and, most importantly, have someone to laugh with too 🥰☕️

Knowing that someone feels safe enough to open up to me and enjoys the time we spend together makes all the worrying, overthinking and hard work worth it.

I’m still building, still learning and still figuring things out as I go, but moments like this make me think… maybe I really am creating something special❤️

Today reminded me of what I’m doing and why I’m doing it. Every time I think I’m going to give up I meet with them and they remind me that kindness matters and what I’m trying to build here matters❤️

A small meaningful moment can make a meaningful difference to someone’s day❤️

Today was all about just being together and sharing a meal and I got to say it was such a wonderful moment and the fact they have chosen me again to share it with is just everything.

Doreen is a fictional character I’m using to show what a Tea & Time companionship visit could look like.

Sometimes plans change. Someone might not feel like going out that day and that’s okay. Tea & Time is about listening, adapting and making the time together meaningful in a way that feels right for them.

Sometimes that might mean getting out for a coffee or a walk… and sometimes it might simply mean staying home, making a cuppa and having someone there to talk to☕🕰️
