We reached a real surgical landmark at St Joseph's Hospital today.

Earlier this year we invested over £1m in the latest MAKO Robotic Assisted Technology to make hip & knee treatments even more accurate, and we celebrated the 100th procedure that took place at our hospital today. It was conducted by our own Orthopaedic Surgeon Mr Andrew Miller and his team - and we also presented the patient with a lovely bouquet of flowers to mark the occasion.

We all wish her a full speedy recovery.

We held the first of a series of Patient Events at our hospital on Tuesday evening where consultant orthopaedic surgeon Mr Angus Robertson delivered a very comprehensive talk about knee pain - the causes and available treatment. Many of the treatments we offer here at St Joseph's Hospital can be performed in our Day Surgery & Endoscopy Unit. We offer an end-to-end consultant-led patient pathway, from diagnostics and pre-assessment right through to follow up physio and recovery plans individually tailored to suit you.
