The aesthetics industry has convinced people they need lifting when many actually need to work on their skin.

Everyone is talking about the weight loss.

Very few people are talking about the skin.

At the recent conference I attended, researchers presented emerging evidence exploring how GLP-1 receptor agonists may influence inflammation, fibroblasts, oxidative stress and dermal white adipose tissue (dWAT), all important players in skin quality and ageing.

This doesn’t mean GLP-1 medications are “bad” for your skin.

Far from it.

It means that as more patients successfully transform their health with these medications, we need to become better at supporting skin health alongside metabolic health.

The future isn’t weight loss or skin health.

It’s both.

Well… I’ve gone and done it.

I’ve just invested in the new HALO™ Tribrid Laser with ClearSilk™, making us the first clinic in Northern Ireland to bring this technology to our patients.

This wasn’t just about adding a treatment, it was about asking: How do we make patient outcomes even better?

Not just demonstrating techniques but truly sharing the years of experience, passion, mistakes, growth, artistry, and science that have shaped me within aesthetics.

‘The Training Rooms’ by Dr Emma was created from a genuine love for this industry and a desire to help other practitioners grow with confidence, skill, and integrity.

I’ve always believed aesthetics is so much more than treatments. It’s understanding faces, building trust, creating natural results, and learning how to treat people holistically not just clinically.
