What I actually needed was a different relationship with myself.

Don’t ever be fooled by online coaches, fitness professionals, or anyone on social media into thinking they have it all together. Trust me, they don’t.

I certainly don’t have my s**t together right now. 😅

I’m currently riding the hormonal rollercoaster of irrationality with anxiety, brain fog, exhaustion, and not to mention the red-eyed monster from crying for absolutely no apparent reason. 🫣

But despite all that, the gym will still happen.

Not because I feel like it.
Not because I’m motivated.
But because I know I need to work with the plan, not the feelings.

Feelings are valid, but they don’t always get to drive the bus.

So today, I’m leaning on self-talk, reminding myself this will pass, and focusing on the next right action rather than waiting to feel better first.

100 days of showing up.

Not perfectly.
Not always feeling motivated.
Not always having it all together.

But showing up anyway.

And honestly, that’s where confidence is built. Not from waiting until we feel ready, but from the small actions we take even when life feels messy.

It also feels like perfect timing to reflect on all the challenges I once thought I’d never get through… but I did.

A reminder that this too shall pass.

Sometimes life forces us into a cocoon. It can feel dark, uncomfortable and uncertain, but there is growth happening in there. And when we emerge, we don’t come out the same. We come out stronger, wiser and more connected to who we really are.

So here’s to 100 days of imperfect action.

Omg, this has been a game changer for reducing my doom scrolling. I was so much more productive this morning.

I won’t lie, my body and mind struggled a little with the change last night, but that’s only because they were so used to the old habit. It will adjust.

What’s really struck me is just how wired our brains are to our phones. It truly is an addiction. Even though my social media was locked, my brain kept coming up with reasons to take my phone out on my walk. But every time I asked myself, “Why?” there wasn’t actually a real reason.

A productive morning, a calmer mind, and proof that sometimes we need a circuit breaker to interrupt the patterns we’ve fallen into.
