Swipe to see the difference between DRY and WET lashes - this is why it’s so important to make sure the lashes are dry before applying step 3! This is when you will be able to see if any over curling has occurred and rectify the situation ❤️

One of the biggest myths in the beauty industry is that “gel ruins your nails because nails need to breathe” 😅

Your nails are actually made of dead keratin cells — they don’t have lungs, pores or the ability to “breathe” at all. The nail plate gets its nutrients and oxygen from the blood supply underneath the nail, NOT from the air around it.

What does damage nails is:
• Incorrect removal (peeling/picking gel off 👀)
• Over-filing the natural nail
• Poor application techniques
• Allergic reactions

A professionally applied and properly removed gel manicure shouldn’t ruin healthy nails. In fact, many people find gel helps protect their natural nails from snapping and breaking while they grow 💅

The “my nails need a break to breathe” myth has been around for years, but usually what people actually need is a break from damage — not from gel itself ✨
