I’m often asked this, especially by people who haven’t tried it before 🙂
Reiki sessions are gentle and relaxing. You remain fully clothed while I place my hands lightly on or just above the body. Many people report feeling deeply calm, warm sensations, or simply enjoying the time to switch off from daily stress.

Alongside Reiki, I sometimes incorporate intuitive and spiritual elements into sessions — such as energetic clearing or guidance — depending on each client’s comfort and preference.
My approach has always been about supporting people in a way that feels right for them, and these aspects are always optional and discussed beforehand.

✨Biofield Tuning works holistically with the therapeutic benefits of sound on and off the body in the body's electromagnetic field (Biofield) to help relieve physical, mental & emotional pain, restoring harmony & balance.

Our memories reside as standing waves in our field and any trauma (stress, illness, injury) show up in the field as areas of resistance, which can be tuned and cleared with the resonance from tuning forks.

This is a one day course to introduce this amazing treatment.

I will teach you how to cleanse the Biofield using unweighted tuning forks and I will also introduce some weighted forks and explain their uses.

✨We will start at 10am and finish around 4pm.

✨The exchange for this course is £135 (Deposit £25 to reserve a space). Places are limited.

Step into Master level training designed to prepare you to practise and teach Reiki. This course includes lesson plans for Reiki Levels 1, 2 and 3, along with guidance on teaching methods, timings, and running your own courses.

You’ll revisit Level 2 symbols, learn the Master symbol and how to incorporate it into your healing work, and practise attunements for all Reiki levels. A demonstration video of the attunement process is provided.

On the final day, you will demonstrate your ability to confidently perform a Reiki Master attunement.

A 2-minute Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) tapping session for stress involves tapping on specific acupressure points while acknowledging negative emotions and shifting to calming affirmations.

By tapping, you can lower your heart rate, reduce cortisol, and deactivate the "fight-or-flight" response, promoting a "rest-and-digest" state.

2-Minute Tapping Sequence
Identify the Stress (15 sec): Rate your stress level (0-10), breathe deeply, and state the issue
Even though I feel this stress, I accept how I feel

Tap the Points (60 sec): Tap 5–7 times on each point with two fingers while repeating the phrase like "I am safe":

Side of Hand (Karate Chop):
Side of the palm.
Eyebrow: Beginning of the eyebrow.

Side of Eye: On the bone.

Under Eye: On the bone under the eye.
Under Nose:
Between the nose and upper lip.

Chin: Between the lower lip and chin.

Collarbone: Just below the notch.

Under Arm: About 4 inches below the armpit.

Top of Head: Center of the crown.

Positive Shift (30 sec): Repeat positive, calming phrases such as "I am safe," "I choose to relax," or "I am letting this go".

Re-evaluate (15 sec): Take a deep breath, exhale, and check your stress level again.

Tappin may also be a promising, non-invasive, self-help tool that may help manage the intensity and frequency of hot flashes, particularly by reducing the stress and anxiety that often trigger them.

Here is a breakdown of how tapping works for hot flashes based on current information:

Reduces Stress Response:
Hot flashes are often triggered or worsened by stress and anxiety.

Tapping on specific meridian points (on the face and hands) sends calming signals to the amygdala, the brain's stress center, which helps the body move out of "fight-or-flight" mode.

Improves Sleep:
Regular tapping can help reduce night sweats and improve sleep quality by calming the nervous system before bed.

Empowerment:
It acts as a form of "emotional first aid" that can be used immediately when a hot flash starts to help minimize its intensity.

It often involves a "two steps forward, one step back" process, focusing on growth, resilience, and finding strength in small, steady progress rather than a perfect, straight path.

Box breathing 🔲 (or 4-4-4-4 technique) is a quick, 1-5 minute technique to reduce stress and boost focus by calming the nervous system.
Inhale through the nose for 4 seconds, hold for 4, exhale slowly through the mouth for 4, and hold empty for 4, repeating 4-6 times to reset.

Quick 1-Minute Box Breathing Steps:

Sit Upright:
Find a comfortable, seated position with a straight spine.

Inhale (4 sec):
Slow breath in through your nose, filling your lungs.

Hold (4 sec):
Hold the air in your lungs.

Exhale (4 sec):
Slow exhale through your mouth.

Hold (4 sec):
Hold your lungs empty.

Repeat:
Repeat this cycle 4–6 times.

Tips for Success:
How it may work:
It stimulates the vagus nerve, which helps switch the body out of fight-or-flight mode.

When it might be helpful to use the technique:
Ideal before a stressful meeting, exam, or to calm anxiety.

Physical cues:
Place one hand on your chest and one on your belly to feel the breath.

Alternative:
If 4 seconds feels too long, start with 3 seconds and work up to 4.

After completing your cycles of box breathing, it is important to gently transition back to your body’s natural, unforced rhythm.
The goal is to carry the sense of calm and balance into your regular, unconscious breathing.
Here are the best ways to transition back to your natural rhythm:

Stop Counting:
The primary step is to let go of the "four-in, four-hold, four-out, four-hold" rhythm and simply observe your breath without trying to control it

Allow Natural Flow:
Let your breath return to its own pace. It may be slower and deeper than before you started, which is fine, but it should feel effortless.

Release Tension:
Take a moment to relax your shoulders, jaw, and face, letting go of any remaining tension.

Move Gently:
When you are ready, slowly open your eyes and gently move your fingers and toes to bring your awareness back to your surroundings.

Optional Reset:
If you feel lightheaded, stop the exercise immediately and return to normal, shallow breathing.

How to Maintain the Calm:
After the session, try to carry this sense of equilibrium into your day, and if you want to repeat the technique as a "reset" whenever you feel stressed or overwhelmed.
