Delighted to support our friends at Funzi and Bodo Trust for their 20th anniversary Funzi Fun Day on Saturday 17 October at St Peter's Church, Gildersome. If you're local, pop along for the cakes, entertainment and bargain hunt, and bring any unwanted clothes, shoes, bedding, towels or curtains to add to the clothing mountain. Every bag helps fund life changing projects for children in Kenya.

On Saturday 17 October we have a fantastic Funzi Fun day lined up. We are looking for people who would like to help set up on the Friday or on the event day itself . We also want everyone who can come to join us as we have a great 20th anniversary event lined up. There will be entertainment all day with dancers , choirs and a wonderful swing band all afternoon . There will be 300 home made cakes , artisan baked toasted tea cakes, delicious home made curry and more traditional offerings like chip butties and pastys . Add to that a giant Bargain Hunt style sale of hundreds of items for a good rummage . Not to forget car washing and face painting , tombola and a raffle with prizes up to £2O0 each .
