☀Summer Garden and Land Volunteer sessions- Wednesdays 4pm-6pmish, starting on May 13th.🥦🌳🌸
Come and join us here at Beech Hill for a community session of shared land work- tending the veg garden, herb garden, the trees, the woods...Learning about veg growing, biodynamics, permaculture, community living, wild edges. 🦊And potentially a chance to glimpse the fox cubs (growing fast!). Enjoy the mental and health benefits of being out in nature, in the season, in the weather, in community, with people. The best way of socialising, I (Kat) think 🙃🙂.

🔥Happy Beltane everyone. Secret Bluebell Woodland here at Beech Hill. We enjoyed a peaceful evening walk through the shining woods and bluebells, to have a glimpse of the fox cubs (from a far distance, not disturbing the cubs or parents). Even though we missed them on this evening, we have spend hours quietly sitting in the woodlands and just observing them play in the flowers and by the stream. It's the most magical thing to witness, having the wild right on our door step in this protected bit of nature. 🌿

There is nothing better than freshly harvested food on your dinner plate. During this day workshop I, Kat, will share some tips and tricks to start growing your own veg. From bed preparation, seed propagation, planting and maintaining, based on no-dig, organic and biodynamic principles. The workshop will included both practical and theoretical parts, as well as a hearty soup lunch and homemade bread.

I have been growing organically and biodynamically the last 7 years, teaching horticulture and co-running a market garden. Come and join me for this day.
