When we were children, we knew exactly what fed our spirit.
We collected shells because they were beautiful. We sat in the sun without feeling guilty. We watched clouds, climbed trees, splashed in puddles, danced in kitchens, spent hours creating things that served no purpose other than making us happy.
Then we became adults and learned to be productive. Efficient. Responsible.
And somewhere along the way, many of us stopped doing the very things that made us feel alive.
Our spirit is nourished by simple things: A walk with no destination. Fresh flowers, reading a book in the garden or your favourite chair, listening to the rain, dipping your feet in the sea, singing out loud, laughing until your stomach hurts.
The things that feed the soul are not complicated. What are yours?
Today, ask yourself a simple question: What did I love doing before the world convinced me I was too busy?
And all those things, write them down and make sure you make room for them
“We remember to water our plants, but when was the last time you watered your spirit?” 🌿✨
