✨The therapy table is back ✨

After taking some time to focus on teaching yoga, holding sound journeys, moving house, opening the studio and generally looking after me, I’m delighted to be reopening my diary for one-to-one healing sessions this June.

For over 20 years, on and off, I have been supporting people on their wellbeing journeys. Along the way, I have trained in a variety of healing and therapeutic approaches, from deeply relaxing treatments that help calm the nervous system to modalities that encourage personal growth, self-discovery and spiritual development.

What has remained constant throughout is my belief that we all need a space where we can simply be ourselves — a space where we feel heard, supported and gently guided back to balance.

Every session is unique and shaped around you, your needs and where you are in life right now. Whether you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or simply in need of some time to restore and rebalance, these sessions are tailored to meet you where you are.

I am looking forward to once again holding this space and working with you.

More details to follow so keep your eyes peeled or sign up to my newsletter http://eepurl.com/jf5POc to receive the details first.

A little behind-the-scenes of how I spent time with last night’s Blue Moon 🌕✨

Charging the bowls under the moonlight, drumming, playing, grounding and enjoying a few precious moments with my four-legged friend 🐾

No grand ceremony. Just following what felt called ahead of tonight’s sold-out Blue Moon Sound Journey.
Thank you to everyone joining me this evening. ❤️

If you’d like to experience a future journey, there are still a few spaces available for the Strawberry Full Moon Sound Journey on 28th June. 🍓🌕

Hope you’re enjoying this lovely weather ☀️
But if the heat is leaving you feeling overwhelmed, irritated, or drained, here’s a beautiful pranayama breathing technique called *Sitkari* (the hissing breath) that can help cool and calm the body.

This practice involves gently inhaling through the teeth to create a soft hissing sound, before exhaling slowly through the nose. The sound and breath work together to soothe the nervous system and bring the body back into balance.

Benefits of Sitkari breathing:
✨ Helps cool the body during hot weather
✨ Calms the mind and reduces stress
✨ Supports nervous system regulation
✨ Can ease feelings of anger, frustration, or overheating
✨ Encourages a sense of grounding and relaxation

In yogic tradition, the hissing sound is symbolic of releasing excess heat and tension, inviting in calm, clarity, and steadiness.

Try a few slow rounds and notice how your body responds 💛

Why roll out the mat this week? During Mental Health Awareness Week 2026, we’re highlighting the science behind the practice: yoga helps regulate our nervous system, increases mindfulness, and provides a safe space to process emotions. If you’ve been looking for a sign to prioritise your mental well-being, this is it.

Join me this Thursday morning for a class dedicated to grounding and self-care. Come and see how yoga can support your mental health.

5 things no one tells you about meditation 🧠

1. Meditation does not silence your thoughts instantly
2. Meditation does not make you “good” at being calm
3. Meditation does not stop anxiety from showing up
4. Meditation does not mean your mind has to go blank
5. Meditation does not fix everything overnight

For a long time, my mind was loud.

Not just overthinking — but constant noise. Intrusive thoughts. OCD patterns. Bracing for the worst. A nervous system stuck in survival mode, scanning for danger even when nothing was wrong.

Meditation didn’t switch that off.

In fact, at the start, it made it more obvious. Like turning the volume up on everything I was trying to avoid.

My mind was like a scratched record —looping the same thoughts, the same fears, over and over again.

But here’s what meditation actually did for me:

It gave me a space — a structured time each day — to sit with the noise instead of running from it.

Slowly, I stopped trying to control it. And instead, I started noticing it.

Over time, I discovered something important: There is a part of me that can observe all of it.

The thoughts. The fear. The chaos. Without getting pulled into the spiral.

And the more I practiced, the stronger that observer became.

The noise didn’t disappear overnight…but it stopped being in charge.

Meditation taught me how to feel safe in my own mind.

It helped me understand that the noise wasn’t the enemy. It was protection. Just outdated, overactive protection.

And instead of trying to “fix” myself, I learned to meet myself with compassion.

That’s what meditation really is.

Not silence.Not perfection.Not control.

Just learning how to sit with yourself — exactly as you are — with a little more patience, kindness, and self acceptance each time.
