Last weekend, I had the pleasure of leading a short meditation and sharing some mindfulness tips with volunteers. It was so inspiring to share space with such strong peopleโค๏ธ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ.

Following this, I am really happy to announce that is now an official supporter of Norwich Pride 2023. As I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community myself, signing this pledge and declaring it publicly is very important to me.

All the sessions we run will be safe spaces for everyoneโค๏ธ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ

My next online session is this Saturday at 11am! I'd love to see you in the Mindful Hearts online session.

This session will be specifically geared to neurodivergent individuals, so please let me know if there's anything i can add/change to make you more comfortable๐Ÿ˜Š Places are available to everyone by donation.

It is so easy to overlook breathing deeply when we are in uncomfortable or tense situations or just busy with everyday life! Whilst we don't need to focus on our breathing for it to happen, intentionally connecting with our breath can be a very powerful tool for clearing the mind and re-adjusting focus.

Have you found this practice helpful before? If so, could you challenge yourself to take at least one intentional breath each day this week?

It is important to note that this at-home practice is not recommended for people with asthma or epilepsy.

Some people, especially when suffering from trauma, might also find focusing on their breath uncomfortable. If this happens, I would recommend:
- returning to normal breathing
- bringing your attention to your physical space
- trying to ground yourself by focusing on the sounds, sights and smells you are currently witnessing.
