Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would host a workshop, never mind one at a person-centred conference for counsellors! I am so proud of myself for going for it, but the importance of the topic sparked this passion. It's essential that person-centred therapy is offered in schools, even more importantly in schools with young people that have been permanently excluded. Thank you to all the people who supported me in the prep. It has meant everything to me. And to all the people who doubt their academic abilities, may have struggled at school, your voice and experience is important and matters, shout it out!!!

Hello 2026 👋

As a person-centred counsellor, I'm cautious about the pressure of setting goals for a new year and then judgment around my maintaining and achieving them (usually around mid-January it all gets thrown out the window).
Instead, an offering of exploration and discovery for 2026 in my relationships.
My relationships with self-care, my relationship with learning and knowledge around PCA, my relationship with my clients and peers, and my relationship with myself.
