Health First
So many of us go through life ignoring our health completely until the day we end up in a hospital bed.
We live with such a twisted mindset:
We take our bodies and our very lives for granted. We drink too much, eat too much, spend recklessly, and pick fights with people who don’t even matter to us. We bury ourselves in endless work just to afford that fancy car, that expensive bag, or that luxury trip and in doing so, we miss our little one’s first steps, their first smile, their first words of love.
We build our lives around money instead of building bonds with our own children. Money turns into an obsession. We spend on things we don’t even truly need just to show off, just to say “I have it, I can afford it”.
But there is another world behind those cold hospital doors.
In there, someone is just praying they get to see another sunrise.
Someone prays they could taste a meal again instead of being fed through a tube.
Someone begs that the results aren’t cancer, that this diagnosis isn’t a death sentence.
Someone pleads for a successful surgery just to go back to the simple life they once overlooked.
Someone would give everything just to speak again, or sit up on their own, or walk like they used to.
And someone else… just lost their battle, and left behind a child, a mother, a wife, a husband, or a father who will never get them back.
Life keeps moving with you, or without you. Nobody is promised tomorrow.
Put your health first. Always.
