Feels like a good day to start to tell you about our upcoming air conditioned ❄️🧊 indoor summer market in Wollaton.

6th June
St Leonard’s Community Centre, Wollaton, NG8 2ND
10-4pm, free parking
Admission £2 (under 18’s free)

It’s time to start to introduce our summer market makers - all handmade, all unique & all lovely lovely people. Our markets are friendly, welcoming & always showcase the wonderful talents of a variety of makers -

The line up for our Summer Market is looking amazing, join us at our indoor, (air conditioned or heated whatever we might need in June 😎☔️🌈☀️) venue.

Our markets are curated to ensure that all our makers bring handmade work, you won’t find any resellers. From exquisite silversmiths, beautiful original art, ceramics, handmade clothes we’ve got you covered. And if you pop in wanting something to eat with your cuppa, we’ve got you covered with jams, cheeses, cakes or samosas - pop the 6th in your diary, we’d love to see you 🩷

Join us for our very first There is Much Joy Ahead Wander this Saturday, 25th April. We’re all about community & wellbeing here, so what better way than having a wander in the sunshine!

No need to book* - just decide if you’re coming on the day & meet at 2pm to the left of the main car park as you look at the main hall, at the bottom of the hill, you’ll find me & Molly 🐶 with one of our There is Much Joy Ahead tote bags, so you can be sure it’s us!

We’ll have a good natter, wander up to the hall, round the lake and finish up with a cuppa at the cafe!

Would be lovely to see you if you’re free ☀️🐶🐾

Our latest workshops newsletter is out now - check your inboxes for all the workshop joy we’ve got planned over the next few months. If you’d like to be added to our mailing list drop me a DM & i’ll add you for future ones 💕🌷

Workshops will be held at the same venue as our markets, St Leonard’s Community Centre or at our home studio in Bramcote - some just lend themselves to a smaller setting.

There’s still spaces available across these workshops, but some are filling up quickly, so whether it’s for some serious advanced planning for Father’s Day, a gift for a friend or just because you fancy it, you’re so welcome to join us!

Workshops are at the very heart of our There is Much Joy Ahead community, creating opportunities to connect and create. 🌸🖌️🎨

If you have never been before, think warm friendly welcome, delicious treats, a glass of sthg fizzy & time to just get absorbed into creativity. The single most common comment across all our workshops is about how good it feels to let yourself focus on one thing even if it’s just for an hour.

If you need space just for you, no commitment to regular events but the option to be part of a creative community & popping in as & when life allows then we are here for you.
