Rylands Shedz, Beeston, affiliated with Men's Sheds is having it official launch on Tuesday 31st March between 10am and 12pm.

At the moment we are meeting every Tuesday between 10am and 11.30am at Trent Vale community sports association centre to develop a new local "Men's Sheds" branch here in Beeston

For the last year we have been setting up a carpentry work room at Trent Vale recreation centre for small wood work projects. We have also acquired a well maintained allotment on Trent Vale for those who may prefer growing things or being outdoors. In the future we are hoping to offer more projects from basket weaving, wood turning, general DIY assistance and hopefully many more as Rylands Shedz grows

Even though we are part of Men's Sheds this group is open to all adults. We hope as our numbers increase and the evenings get lighter to meet up in the evening for those working or have other commitments during the day.

Please if you can come along Tuesday and meet some of the members for a chat cup of tea/coffee etc. If this launch is successful we will look at an evening meet to hopefully catch the people that can not make it during the day.

We look forward to meeting you on Tuesday 31st March.

Rylands Shedz

Hi we are a new small group, affiliated with Men's Sheds UK based in Beeston Rylands at Trent Vale Recreation Ground, Trent Vale Rd Beeston Rylands.

We are in the process of setting up a group where all people over the age of 18, can connect, socialise, and when fully set up, work on practical projects, often involving woodworking, metalworking, gardening and other crafts.

At the moment we are looking for volunteers rather than members as we have a meeting room and are trying to set up a workshop but need to get this project off the ground.

We meet once every 2 weeks at 10am Tuesday for a few hours to chat, drink tea, coffee and work out how we can take this project further

We are also looking for any tools, equipment that would be suitable for setting up a workshop, we do have secure storage for any donations and we use these when we find a suitable premise to set up proper work shed.

So if you can help, have any tools you no longer require or know of a premises not being used that might be suitable please get in contact on either this page PM me or the email address listed on our page we would be grateful.
