1, 3 or 33.
The numbers may change, the energy I bring to each session does not.
Whether I’m playing for one person, three people or a room full of people, the preparation, the intention and the investment in creating that space remain the same.
Because I don’t believe the value of a session is measured by how many people are in the room.
It’s measured by the care that goes into it.
And then there’s the gong. ✨
A gong creates a rich soundscape of frequencies and overtones. Its vibrations travel through the air, and when you’re close enough, you can feel them as well as hear them.
There’s something quite profound about that.
We are surrounded by sound every day, how often do we actually stop and allow ourselves to listen?
To feel.
To breathe.
To simply be.
Science can explain some of what happens when a gong is played. There’s also something about the experience itself that words don’t always capture.
The stillness.
The space.
The feeling of being held for a little while.
And whether there’s one person in the room or thirty-three, that intention remains the same.
Because every person who comes through the door deserves the same care, the same respect and the same opportunity to pause.
The numbers don’t change the energy.
They just change the number of people I get to share it with. 🤍
