🌿 Stepping Stones Counselling.🌿
You may have noticed the stepping stones in my logo, So, I wanted to share a little about what they mean to me and why I chose them for my counselling practice.
Life doesn’t always follow the path we imagined. Sometimes the way forward feels clear, and at other times we can feel stuck, overwhelmed or unsure of which direction to take.
For me, the stepping stones represent those moments in our lives.
We don’t always need to know where the whole path is leading. Sometimes we just need to find the next stone, take one step at a time, and know that we don’t have to take that journey alone.
The water represents the ups and downs of life. It can be calm, it can be unsettled, and sometimes the path ahead can be difficult to see. But there can still be somewhere safe to place your next step.
No two journeys are the same, and neither are the stepping stones we need along the way. Sometimes we may need to pause, take a different direction, retrace a step or simply take our time.
That is also how I see my role as a counsellor.
I don’t see myself as someone who has all the answers or who will tell you which direction to take. My role is to walk alongside you, listen without judgement and provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore whatever you are carrying.
Sometimes counselling may be about finding that next step. Sometimes it’s about understanding where you’ve been. And sometimes it’s simply about having someone beside you while you find your way.
The Irish-inspired landscape in my logo is also meaningful to me. It reflects my love of where I live and the connection I feel to the landscape around us — the water, the hills, the quietness and the sense of a journey continuing beyond what we can see.
A safe space to be heard, understood and supported.
Send me a message/email or a call, take your next step to putting yourself first and have that safe space to choose your path.
