Yoga at The Oaks is a beautiful barn-like studio set in a quiet and peaceful location in the village of Normandy, Guildford.
It has a warm, characterful feel and looks onto a lovely garden and fields in a rural setting. This is where I hold all my classes and workshops. Surrey GU3 2DA.

Yoga Classes
My yoga classes are in a slow thoughtful style (Hatha yoga with Scaravelli influence). A class usually consists of an opening relaxation, some simple movements to prepare the body, asanas (movements/exercises) and breathing with a specific focus, meditation and a final relaxation. It's suitable for different levels of experience as everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace and with close connection to their own needs. It's a slow, thoughtful form of yoga which develops concentration and focus and deepens your awareness - a bit like "meditation in movement" or "mindfulness" yoga. Tension is released, aches and pains are eased and there is an opportunity to drop into that deep quiet place inside you, where you can rest. One to One
I also offer One to One yoga sessions - Online or In-person.
Relaxation & Meditation
Release tension, calm the mind, centre your energy, refresh your spirit. We use breathing exercises, mindfulness meditation and guided meditation, visualisations using colour, nature and music - to experience different ways of relaxing and letting go of tension. We use simple meditation and concentration exercises to focus and quieten the mind and to connect with your own "inner knowing" . We experience stillness, space and the peace of silence in deep relaxation.
Qi Gong
is a gentle practice of simple flowing movements with attention to posture, energy flow and the breath. it directs and cultivates Qi (life/force/energy) in and around the body. It is similar to Tai Chi but the movements are very much simpler and easier to follow. No previous experience is necessary.
