Hello,�This really is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. After six wonderful years, I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to close my beloved Skyn Bakery.
Since day one, Skyn Bakery has been a true labour of love. What began as a small idea at my kitchen table grew into something I could never have imagined. Over the years, we’ve gained 1000’s of FIVE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐reviews from our customers, created a bespoke skincare range for the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, had our products stocked in shops all over the UK and around the world, as far as America, Australia and even Bermuda! I've built a loyal community of thousands of customers who have supported us every step of the way. Our products have even been loved by familiar faces including Fearne Cotton, Charlotte Crosby and Karen Hauer.
I’ve cherished every message you’ve sent me over the years, stories of how our products have helped you or someone you love. Just yesterday, a friend told me her mum, who has psoriasis, has been using our Oat Balm and said it’s really helping her skin. It’s moments like that which have kept me going through the highs and lows and also make it so hard to say goodbye.
I truly thought I’d be doing this forever, but sometimes you reach a point where you know it’s time to step away. When something no longer brings the same joy it once did, it’s a sign to make space for new beginnings. Running Skyn Bakery single-handedly, while also being a mum of three, a wife, and working full-time has been both rewarding and exhausting. It’s time for me to slow down, recharge, and realign with what brings me happiness and balance.
But this isn’t goodbye forever. I have no doubt you’ll see me again in some form, perhaps in a new business where I can share the experience and knowledge I’ve gained through Skyn Bakery and my years in marketing. For now, I’m taking time to rest, reflect, and plan what’s next.
