Final placement of year one, over and out peace ✌️

Some key points to take away…

1. Being able to use your body is a privilege, get up and move it while you still can.

2. 30 mins of intense exercise does the equivalent for those with Parkinson’s as an additional dose of their medication!

3. Anaesthetic is both insanely clever and absolutely terrifying.

4. I am such a surgical / theatre ju**ie! Gimmie an operating theatre and scrub me the f in.

5. Female Drs, surgeons and consultants are succhhhhhh baddies.

Let’s see what year 2 brings.

I often get asked “can you put the left over filler somewhere else” and the answer is always no.

Here’s why… fillers come in many viscosities with varying textures and thickness.

For lips I choose to work with a more flexible soft filler and for the cheeks or chin for example I’d use a filler on the total opposite end of the spectrum, something very firm which doesn’t move well.

If I tried to contour your face with lip filler, it simply wouldn’t be able to withstand the weight of the face that sits on top. If I put hard filler in your lips, you’re going to get hard lips that don’t move as they should naturally.

I’m never being mean or greedy, I’m doing what’s best for you and your results!

One treatment does not fix all problems!

Botox is a perfect example, people come for Botox thinking it is going to reverse years of expression, erase every line and crease, even complexion and smooth the external skin. It might be amazing, but it’s not a miracle.

If your skin has been neglected over the years or your lines are particularly deep, yes Botox will take away the lines created by muscles when you animate your face, but it won’t address the actual quality or moisture levels in your skin itself which is where most of the problem lies.

If your lines are deep when your face isn’t moving, you’ll need to commit to a multi faceted treatment plan to address both the deep and superficial concerns to achieve the results you want.

You wouldn’t ask a mechanic to do your lashes, so don’t rely on just one treatment to fix multiple concerns.
