I was in denial for far too long.

“No, I don’t need reading glasses. I’m only 45. I’m fine.”

Well... I’ve finally given in and accepted that I do need them. 🤓

The challenges of getting older can be surprising, especially for us women, as so much is changing in our bodies at this stage of life.

I really wish someone had told me all this when I was 20. Maybe I would have appreciated my younger body more or at least been better prepared for the changes ahead.

Then again... I was 20, so I probably would have thought I knew better anyway. 😄

Do you think we’re better informed today about what happens to our bodies as we age, or are some things still catching us by surprise?

This post is purely about gratitude.

This week, I saw a couple of patients whose chronic issues got significantly better, and that feeling after the appointment is just amazing.

It is not about patting myself on the back (—well, maybe just a tiny bit, but most of the credit goes to the patient’s body doing the hard work and healing).

It is a deep feeling of gratitude for my patients and their trust, for homeopathy and its brilliant healing system, and for the fact that it found me.

For a long time, I searched for a passion that could become my career. I know many people do the same, because there is nothing more rewarding than loving your job.I am still amazed I found it.

How do I know it is right? It raises my energy. I do not feel drained after work—I might be tired, but I feel good. Even when I have to work over the weekend, I actually look forward to it. I never felt that way at any other job.

So, thank you God, the universe, or whoever is running this show called life. I’m just so thankful I get to do this every day ❤️

A child only gets one childhood.

They won’t remember every toy, holiday or activity—but they will remember how safe, loved and accepted they felt.

That doesn’t mean we have to be perfect parents. We all make mistakes, lose our patience and have difficult days. What matters most is that the foundation of home is love, safety and the reassurance that our children are unconditionally loved.

And that is one of the greatest gifts we can ever give them. ❤️
