Mindful attention enables us to choose where to focus our attention. With practice, using various tools, this becomes easier and can change the way we experience our lives, whatever is going on.

Most of us spend a lot of our lives in autopilot, living with habitual thinking and behaviour. This is an efficient way for the brain to process and deal with life, but not necessarily the best for us.

Mindfulness isn’t just relaxation, it’s a way of integrating our awareness of body, mind and emotions. There is a lot of scientific evidence about the benefits of mindfulness. It’s a life tool worth knowing about!

There is a lot of high quality scientific evidence of the many benefits of mindfulness. It is not just relaxation.

This tailored workshop gave carers an experience of mindful meditation, grounding and mindful movement.

The carers took home a range of tools to use in their everyday lives as well as meditation audios.

Suppressed emotions build up and can call for our attention in different ways. Bringing an open curiosity and acceptance to ourselves can help us to develop resilience.
