Gents, just a gentle reminder why you should be getting your bloods done if you’re administering TRT. With more men exploring Testosterone Replacement Therapy, it’s important you know the risks should you misuse it.

When prescribed correctly, TRT can help:
- Restore healthy energy levels
- Improve lean muscle & fat distribution
- Enhance cognitive sharpness & mood
- Support motivation, confidence & drive
- Protect long-term metabolic and bone health

➡️ But TRT isn’t risk-free.
That’s why blood work is non-negotiable.

🧬 When testosterone levels are elevated through TRT, the body undergoes measurable changes:
🩸Hematocrit & Hemoglobin – Testosterone stimulates red blood cell production, too much can make the blood “thicker,” raising clotting risk.
🩸Estradiol (E2) – Testosterone converts into estrogen though aromatisation. Balanced levels are healthy, but excess may cause water retention, mood swings, or gynecomastia.
🩸Lipids – TRT can lower protective HDL cholesterol and alter LDL, shifting cardiovascular risk.
🩸Prostate (PSA) – DHT, a testosterone metabolite, acts strongly on prostate tissue. Monitoring PSA ensures no abnormal growth.
🩸Liver & Kidneys – Blood thickening can place extra strain, making liver and kidney markers important.
🩸Metabolic Health – Testosterone supports insulin sensitivity, but unchecked imbalances can mask early warning signs of metabolic stress.

Advanced markers (when symptoms or risks suggest deeper issues):
🩸Prolactin – High levels can cause low libido, ED, or gyno.
🩸Cortisol – For stress, recovery, and sleep issues.
🩸IGF-1 & DHEA-S – Insight into overall anabolic balance.
🩸Vitamin D – Supports hormonal & immune health.
🩸Ferritin/Iron – Especially if donating blood to manage hematocrit.

✅ TRT can be life-changing, but only when managed clinically, responsibly, and with continuous blood analysis.

👉🏻 If you’re administering TRT, make sure you’re getting your bloods checked regularly.

👉🏻 Any coach looking over bloods should always be consulting with a clinic or doctor.

An absolutely outrageous transformation for such a short time frame. With a holiday coming up, Tommy signed up with a goal to get as lean as possible, as quick as possible.

➡️ With a good understanding of knowing how to train already, we put the majority of our focus on his daily routine and his diet.

➡️ Even with a short time frame, we adjusted his plan so he could still have the flexibility to socialise on weekends.

➡️ Listened to every instruction and trusted the process. Very often do we see during dieting phases the clients look to cut corners every time the scale weight doesn’t move. They will want to drop calories, increase training volume or add in more supplements. This always leads to a depleted looking physique come the end of the plan, or burnout before the plan even finishes. Tommy trusted the process even in the weeks he couldn’t see progress 👏🏻

Towards the end of last year, joined the team after seeing Bens results - Now he’s the inspiration 👏🏻 What stu did in 18 weeks is absolutely incredible.

40, with a full-on work schedule, kids and a lifestyle that didn’t exactly prioritise health, Stu knew it wouldn’t be easy. But he didn’t make excuses. He showed up, even on the busiest and most stressful days. He trained with intent, trusted the process and completely overhauled how he approached fitness, food, and recovery.

No shortcuts. No hacks. Just relentless consistency and the mindset of someone who refused to settle.

Now? He’s in the shape of his life. Stronger. Leaner and regained confidence. What started as a personal challenge has now become a lifestyle!

Another brilliant transformation from our Online Client Dan 👏🏻 Dan has been with us since January & as you can see from his results, he’s been a man on a mission.

Dan joined our bootcamp in January and wanted to make 2024 his fittest and healthiest year to date after years of neglecting his body. After T4 Dan jumped onto our online coaching program to further improve his daily routine and lifestyle.

Like most, Dan is a busy guy, so implementing a plan that didn’t interfere with his productivity in work was key. Alongside this, Dan spent weeks with us in the gym to ensure he fully understood the program we had set him. If our clients are local, this is a no brainier - Understanding how to execute every exercise whilst experiencing the intensity that warrants change, is the difference between getting results in 3 months or 12 months.

We did a full blood work analysis with Dan which also allowed us to tailor a nutritional program and supplement plan specifically to improve blood markers that were a concern.

“I reached out to Imperium as I had no structure in the gym, no routine, I’d train for a few days and then not go for a week. Outside of the gym I was always guessing what foods are good and which foods to avoid 🤯

Before the programme started I was constantly tired and feeling flat, I was fed up of not having that consistent routine. Once we sat down together and was told what I needed to do, everything just fell into place. After getting used to the new meal plans and training programme, the daily routine just became the norm.

After a couple of weeks I felt better mentally and physically, once I started to see results I felt even better again!

One thing that I was impressed with was nothing was ever too much trouble, Luke was always there to answer any questions. Whether it was about the meal plan, training programme or just general questions. I couldn’t have asked for more.

I’ve seen some incredible 8 week transformations in my time, but this one is by far the most impressive 👏🏻

For those of you that know Ben personally, will know how far out of his comfort zone he has come to do this! Ben has been an absolute privilege to work with.

Ben had been contemplating signing up to an Online Coaching Program for months before he eventually reached out for help. Like many others, ben was in the gym every day but had very little structure. He had very little structure with his diet too, which lead him to feel constantly exhausted and seeing very little progress with his physique - even though he trained most days.

We did Ben a full blood work analysis and implemented a diet plan & supplement plan tailored to improve his blood markers that needed attention.

Alongside this, we spent 1 PT session a week with Ben to ensure he understood fully how to execute his training plan. Once Ben stepped up his intensity in the gym, everything fell into place.

Ben has been absolutely obsessed over the past 8 weeks, not made any excuses, missed any sessions and has been in touch every day to remove any guesswork.

“Your body is reflection of your lifestyle and your daily habits”

This post is going to be so far from our typical posts. But something over the last week or 2 I’ve felt the need to talk about more.

The majority of our followers will have kids, be 30+, overworked, business owners, and in a position where health and fitness is not their priority. Which is absolutely fine. But with this usually comes poor mental health, inconsistent energy levels throughout the day, low confidence, higher stress levels, poor sleep and an unwillingness to want to change due to the effort they know it will require to get to where they want to be.

Last year this was me. A personal trainer, with zero goals other than to grow my business and enjoy more family time, bored of my training routine and a body that started reflecting my lack of time looking after myself. As coaches or business owners in general, its so easy to fall into the trap of prioritising our clients and business over ourselves. Only my closer mates will know this, I eventually started developing anxiety from such a poor work/life balance.

Towards the back end of last year enough was enough and I put all my focus my back to myself so I wasn’t the fat mate on my mates wedding photos 😂 The take away point here, is that as I started shifting focus into myself and into my training again, I managed stress SO much better. I was 100x more productive in work which allowed me to offer a higher level of service to my clients. I had more energy when I got home from work to play with my daughter making me a better parent, my sleep was never better which lead to my mornings being more productive, and lastly when I was on my holidays this year, I regained the confidence that was lost from neglecting my health and fitness the year before.

➡️ Your body is a reflection of your lifestyle and your daily habits. If you’re operating at 100 miles per hour and neglecting your health, eventually you will burn out.

➡️ No sales pitch. Just a reminder that you should always make yourself a priority & listen to the signs! 🧠Stress is a silent killer.
