Mastitis can develop quickly, which is why recognising the early signs matters 💗

✨ Redness or warmth on the skin
✨ Flu-like symptoms such as fever, chills or fatigue

If you notice any of these symptoms, act early and seek support from your midwife, health visitor, GP or breastfeeding specialist.

Many cases can be managed more effectively when caught early, so trust your instincts and don’t ignore changes that don’t feel right.
