They are planning a trip to Devon this month, so if you're Military, a Veteran, bring your Family and Dog, or anyone in your Support Network, Veterans Organisations or you know us and you want to join the walk on Dartmoor
You will love this Group and possibly do more adventures with them and be part of their family

Busy morning 2 bags of empty cans courtesy of Solace in Devon and Mental Health Rocks on their way to Lionel Digby for his chosen charity Children's Hospice South West, the weight equals funds for the Hospice
And also giving him 5 Display Rocks for the Torquay Royal British Legion gazebo to put on their table to stop the leaflets from blowing away on windy days

This little stack has 500 Poppy Rocks, by the weekend it will be bigger as I will be putting all the crates together, I chose the wrong hobby when it comes to living in a flat so lots of housekeeping and tidying and get things in order for the 2026 Poppy Rocks Project

In time social media will do it's thing and it will support me but that will happen when it happens
It won't change me as a person, I will still be me passionate and committed to help others, I've heard deep meaningful stories, by many Veterans and by individuals struggling with their emotions.
My artwork helps me to be the person I am today, helping where I can and making smiles

Bank Holiday Monday at 6am at Solace in Devon
When you're in the best environment and the sunrise is stunning, it really helps everyone mentally

Wild Art Cornwall came to Solace in Devon to give a course on Stone Carving, myself, Nam Noor and Dan the TreeNet man had to create The Easter Island Statue to the younger audience Dumb Dumb from Night of the Museum
We each made different versions but for the first time we ain't done too bad
I think Mental Health Rocks has something else to add to it's portfolio
I can see carved Poppy Blocks with added paint on them to brighten them up for next year

Finally Part 1 of the Big Remembrance Rock is complete and it's varnished, redone all the colour of the poppies and leaves and it looks outstanding, I'm really really chuffed with the outcome.
And 1st coated the Veteran Walks Rocks with varnish
Tomorrow it's up to Solace in Devon for a solo getaway in Camp Poppy for the Bank Holiday Weekend

Just finished off some more Veteran Walks Rocks of Support and it's been a good few months I've not touched the Big Remembrance Day Rock, but now it's time to concentrate on it as in a months time and a bit it will be on display in a Window Display next to Paignton War Memorial on the leading up to Remembrance Day
Repainting the Poppies making them brighter
I may have to take it to Solace in Devon this Bank Holiday weekend to focus on it 🫡

All I do is follow my dream, whether it be painting rocks that mean so much to veterans or individuals struggling with emotions, building communities, decorating war memorials, volunteering in Ella’s Garden at Rowcroft Hospice doing what I can to make the estate looking beautiful or helping at Solace in Devon to make their dream a reality by giving families and veterans a space to relax, views to enjoy and bringing smiles to faces

Adult time at Camp Poppy in Solace in Devon, until Saturday, weather today is a mixed bag of all sorts, wind rain sun rain and rain rain 🌧️ but I won't let it dampen my spirits, build a shelter and bring some pebbles out from the boot of the car and paint them
We know how to rock a holiday 😂
