Anxiety can look really different from person to person.

For some, it might be the more obvious physical symptoms such as feeling on edge, a racing heart, feeling shaky, tense or panicky.

For others, it can show up more in their thoughts and behaviours - overthinking, constantly questioning themselves, avoiding things, worrying about what might happen or finding it difficult to switch off.

And sometimes, anxiety is only part of the picture.☝️

Ive had people come to me wanting to work on managing their anxiety, but as we start to explore their experience, we notice other things that are contributing to how they feel — low self-esteem, a lack of confidence, not trusting themselves or their decisions, or struggling to move forward from something that’s happened in the past.

So when I work with someone, I start by understanding their own personal experience of anxiety.

What does it look and feel like for you?

What tends to drive it, make it feel worse or help it settle?

What thoughts, feelings and behaviours make up your anxiety cycle?

What might be sitting underneath it?

We can also look at healthy anxiety - understanding that some anxiety is a normal and useful part of being human, rather than something we need to be frightened of or get rid of completely.

And from there, we can explore the tools and strategies that actually work for you and what else might need a bit more attention.

It’s not about following the same formula for everyone. It’s about understanding what’s going on for you and working from there.

If any of this resonates, or you’d like to ask me anything about how coaching could support you with your
anxiety, feel free to get in touch.

What can one workshop actually change?

A well-planned session can open up important conversations, strengthen connection and help people better understand themselves and each other.

✔️ Understand responses to stress, pressure and emotion

✔️ Build confidence, self-esteem and self-awareness

✔️ Recognise shared experiences and strengthen connection

✔️ Learn practical tools and new ways of thinking

✔️ Explore how we support wellbeing and build resilience - individually and collectively

My workshops and group sessions are grounded in four key areas: mental wellbeing, emotional health & regulation, self-relationship and resilience.

But every group is different.

Students preparing to enter their profession may need something very different from a workplace team experiencing sustained pressure, or a group of women wanting to build confidence and prioritise themselves.

That’s why sessions are shaped around your people, your setting and what you want to achieve. Content can be condensed into a focused learning session or developed into a more in-depth workshop, combining learning, discussion, reflection and practical tools.

The kind of work that can make a real difference 1:1 can also be brought into a shared space - reaching more people while creating opportunities for connection, shared learning and wider cultural impact. 🌊

Individual support can create meaningful change. Bringing people together allows that impact to go even further!

What could 1:1 coaching do for you? 🌿

We’re very good at saying “I need to start putting myself first.”

But between work, family, responsibilities, other people’s needs and the general noise of life… it’s easy for you to keep slipping further down the list.

One-to-one coaching is dedicated time where you don’t have to be anything for anyone else.

It’s space to slow things down, talk openly and bring whatever is on your mind - without judgement, expectation or someone immediately telling you what they think you should do.

Sometimes you need to untangle what’s going on.

Sometimes you need space to work on your anxiety.

Sometimes you need to rebuild your confidence.

And sometimes you simply need somewhere safe to say “this is where I’m at” and work out where you want to go from there.

That time can give you clarity, greater self-understanding, practical tools, stronger self-trust and the confidence to start taking action for yourself.

You spend so much of your life showing up for everything and everyone else.

Choosing to spend an hour showing up for yourself matters too.

Resilience is more than mindset.

The people around you shape you more than you realise.

We often think resilience is all about our mindset.
And yes, mindset matters.

But so do the people you spend your time with - the conversations you have, the way people speak to you, the standards they set, the encouragement they give, the accountability they bring or the negativity they normalise.

Little by little, those things shape how you see yourself, how you respond to challenges and how quickly you recover when life gets difficult.

That's why resilience isn't just built from within.
It's influenced by what repeatedly surrounds you.

Choose people who bring out the best in you.

Choose environments that support your wellbeing.

And wherever you can, be that person for someone else.

Because resilience grows more easily where people feel supported, encouraged and believed in.💚

Every promise you keep to yourself.
Every boundary you honour.
Every uncomfortable conversation you have.
Every time you do something despite the fear.
Each one gives you evidence that you can.
And that evidence becomes self-trust.
Self-trust becomes confidence.🌱

The people who appear the most confident aren't necessarily fearless.
They've simply built enough evidence to trust themselves.
They trust that if things don't go to plan, they'll learn, adapt and keep going.
They've also learnt to tolerate the fact that not everyone will understand, agree with or approve of them.
Because confidence isn't about everyone liking your choices.
It's about trusting yourself enough that someone else's judgement doesn't stop you taking the next step.🙅‍♀️

I've built my own confidence through action - leaving my full time secure NHS role to launch a business, hosting my first fundraiser, posting on social media despite peoples judgements!

I didnt have all the confidence beforehand, but I backed myself & proved to myself I could.

So stop waiting to feel confident and start giving yourself evidence that you can, that you have your own back and it will come more naturally.

Seeing women doubt themselves less and start backing themselves more is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.✨

Action → Evidence → Self-trust → Confidence

Being a Mental Health Nurse has changed me just as much as it's shaped my career.

People often ask what Mental Health Nurses do.
Yeah, we do medication rounds, assessments, care planning, crisis work, and a whole lot of documentation too. 😅

But that doesn't really capture who we have to be. Mental Health Nursing is about seeing the person behind the behaviour or the crisis, because every person has a story that matters.

I've seen people overcome challenges they never believed they could, rebuild lives they never thought they would and discover strengths they didn't know they even had. That's why I believe people are often more capable than they give themselves credit for.

For us, sometimes it's listening to what's not being said just as much as what is.

Sometimes it's assessing risk while respecting a person's rights and independence.

Sometimes it's balancing compassion with honesty, knowing when someone needs support, when they need encouragement and when they need to be gently challenged because you know they can grow.🌱

Sometimes it's advocating for someone when they can't advocate for themselves or recognising progress that no one else notices.

Sometimes it's recognising that change can't be forced, no matter how much you want it for someone.

Sometimes it's sitting with uncertainty, recognising that not every problem or worry can be "fixed" immediately.

Sometimes it's asking, "What do you need from me?" instead of assuming you already know the answer.

One of the biggest lessons I've learned☝️

Looking after your own wellbeing isn't selfish. It's what allows you to keep showing up for others.
You can care deeply about someone without believing it's your sole responsibility to fix everything.
Compassion and healthy boundaries can exist together.
You can't be everything to everybody.
The weight of trying to be eventually catches up with you.

Mental Health Nursing has taught me a lot, and I'm sure it still has plenty more to teach me.💚

For a long time, I thought resilience meant just being strong, getting on with it and keeping everything together.

Now, I see theres so much more too it.

To me, resilience starts with knowing yourself...

• What matters to you
• What drains your energy
• What helps you recharge & reset
• Who helps you feel like yourself agaiin

Because when life gets busy or overwhelming, we all need different things. For me, it can be distance from my phone, a guided meditation, a short walk, gutting something out 😂 or more recently a cold water dip.
I never thought I'd say that but there's something about it that quietens the noise and slows down my thoughts.

I've also learnt that resilience isn't just about what you do. It's about who you surround yourself with, the conversations you have and the environments you spend your time in.

I believe it's trial and error sometimes. It's noticing what works for you, then doing more of it. Its also about giving yourself permission to change as life changes.

That's what resilience means to me. Not never struggling... but building a life that helps you navigate the ups and downs a little better.☀️

We live in a world full of advice.

Social media.
Podcasts.
Books.
Friends and family.
Experts.
Strangers on the internet.

Everyone has an opinion about what you should do.

Coaching with me is about giving you the space to step back, untangle your thoughts, understand yourself more deeply and gain clarity on what feels right for you.

Together, we'll explore the things that have the biggest impact on your wellbeing, from confidence, self-trust and resilience to boundaries, stress, self-worth and navigating life's ups and downs.

We'll build practical tools and skills that feel realistic, sustainable and tailored to you, because there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to wellbeing.

Every woman I work with is different, which is why every coaching journey is different too.

If you're looking for a safe, supportive space to focus on you and improve your wellbeing, I'd love to hear from you.

These values aren’t just words - they’re the standard I hold when I work with all clients.

It matters because you should feel able to speak openly, feel respected and free from judgment.

It matters because it's important you're ready to take action and accountability for what's to come by not getting stuck in the story.

It matters because we will learn to stop focusing on what you could have done, should have done, or wish you hadn't done and allow yourself to grow forward.

I can support you with many things - your mental wellbeing, the relationship you have with yourself, and your resilience, but ideally, our values need to align too.

If they do and you want to understand how working with me could look for you, feel free to book in for a free, zero pressure initial consultation.
