Ambito 'The Ark' Day Service The Ark day service is committed to making your day; something exciting! Our hard working team are

Here at The Ark we provide specialist support to people with profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex health needs. We work hard to make every day exciting, and to see the world through the eyes of those who use our service. Our skilled staff team have training in a variety of therapeutic interventions such as Chest Percussions and use of orthotics, as well as clinical interventions such as gastrostomy support, therapeutic oxygen use and oral suction. But above all else we want to get to know the people we support, and make each day different and exciting! Come and join in with Theatre of Possibilities or our Sensory Movie Morning- where we bring stories to life and the only limit is your imagination! If you're aged 18 or over and looking for something fabulous to do on a weekday- get in touch and we can arrange a Covid-Safe visit to show you what we're all about!

We are looking for full time support staff... with flexibility to work daytimes/evenings/weekends... who are willing to support adults and young people... with day opportunities, in their homes, AND in the community... and who want to make a difference!
If you’re interested in supporting people to recognise and increase their independence, if you want to promote choice, dignity, and communication, if you want to support others to be their best self, if you have a Full Manual Driving Licence with 2 years of driving experience…

Want to say a huge thank you ZooLab for the visit this afternoon! We had a fantastic time and super grateful to all the critters who stayed so calm in our little land of chaos!
(And a big thanks to the team for keeping their fear under wraps!)
Everyone who took part today was so brave and really enjoyed learning about these amazing creatures! Photos to come... thanks ZooLab!!
