After being full on with my CST studying I'm now enjoying my time on Vancouver Island.

Today was yet another blue sky day 💙 I visited a couple of beaches and had a trail ride through the forest.

I was only saying yesterday that my boys won't be missing me, just missing the treats, and I got a photo of them tucking into some leaves that had been picked for them âĪïļ

100% recommend these guys for anyone thinking about studying craniosacral therapy and orthopaedic assessment.

I've learnt so much during the practicum and, although I don't want to leave Canada, I'm looking forward to using my improved knowledge to help my clients (and my boys)

Congratulations to these three practitioners on successfully passing their written and practical exams for our Level 1 Equine Craniosacral Therapy Certification!

Over the past two weeks, the decision to transition to a semi-private practicum format has been reaffirmed time and time again.

Working in smaller groups allows us to go deeper. It creates space for thoughtful discussion, individualized feedback, and the opportunity to truly refine palpation skills and clinical reasoning in real time.

What impressed me most was the level of preparation these practitioners brought with them. They arrived having fully engaged with the online theory, ready to ask questions, challenge concepts, and put their knowledge into practice.

This is exactly how I envisioned the program: theory front-loaded so that our time together can focus on developing hands-on skills, building confidence, and learning to think critically.

Teaching this work continues to be one of the greatest privileges of my career. There is something incredibly rewarding about connecting with practitioners who share a deep curiosity, commitment to lifelong learning, and a desire to better understand the horses they serve.

To our newest graduates, thank you for your dedication, openness, and trust throughout this process. I cannot wait to see where this knowledge takes you and the impact you will have on the horses in your care.

Applications for our 2027 semi-private practicums are now open.

Today has been a great day, even though it started with exams!!

Myself and Angela both passed our L1 and L2 exams, and now we need to get cracking on the portfolios and case studies for full certification.

It's been a real privilege to spend time at EQ Therapeutics with Elisse Miki, Angie Gee and all the horses, thank you so much âĪïļ (I might have got a farewell kiss from Monty!)

I'm now on Vancouver Island, stopping the night at Nanaimo before getting a hire car tomorrow and having 5 days to explore before heading home.

Although I've missed my boys, I know they've been well looked after and it's been amazing to come away for so long. I might just have to research jobs and how much it costs to fly horses over to ðŸ‡ĻðŸ‡Ķ though .....😁🙃

It's been another beautiful blue sky day in Langley for our final day studying CST L2 before our exams tomorrow ðŸ˜ģ

I thought I'd share a few photos from EQ Therapeutics headquarters.

It's been such a lovely place to study, so calm and welcoming. I'm going to miss being here but I'm also excited for the second part of my holiday on Vancouver Island âĪïļ

CST L2 day 1 was great, but quite intense, focusing on the pelvis, torsions and compactions. My little brain was aching by the end of the day!

So much effort has gone into this course, and the fact that we're doing the practical as semi-private means we get lots of hands on time. Having the theory online to work through first is also really helpful. Grateful to Elisse and Angie for all their help and encouragement.

We've also had fabulous weather ☀ïļ

Don't tell Zephyr, but I got the best kisses from Monty yesterday 😁

And now I need to teach my boys to smile when I get home âĪïļ

We're so lucky to have this in Cumbria.

Second day of my CST course, really enjoying it, despite getting a little confused with certain aspects, and I absolutely love this modality. I really cannot wait to try out my improved skills on my boys and other willing volunteers as I work towards certification.

I also survived not one, but 2 solo drives in an automatic, on the wrong side of the road today 🙌ðŸĪĢ
