Our attention is one of our most valuable resources.

Every day, countless thoughts compete for space in our minds… worries about the future, unfinished tasks, expectations, responsibilities, and endless to-do lists.

But how often do we pause and ask whether these thoughts deserve so much of our energy?

✍️ This week’s journaling prompt:

What has been occupying most of your mental space lately, and is it deserving of that attention?

As you journal, approach yourself with curiosity rather than judgement.

Notice what keeps returning to your thoughts.

Is it something you can influence?

Is it something that aligns with your values?

Or is it simply taking up space that could be devoted elsewhere?

Awareness is the first step towards intentional living.

Take a few quiet moments today to check in with yourself and see what emerges.

Words are finally arriving back in me. Wrote over 10 pages this week. Some repetitive stuff. But mostly new ideas and different understanding. Spending days mostly busy. Craving growth and the need to nurture something. Choosing community and connection. Rekindling.

N.B. pretty impressed with myself for keeping up with these weekly updates! I love that there are so many different ways to document and journal in this life. I do enjoy looking back at my Instagram sometimes, although it does make me cringe on occasion 😬😂

Wind Down Yoga
A gentle class designed to help you slow down and settle. We explore calming breathwork, mindfulness, slow-flowing movement, and nourishing yin postures, before finishing with a guided relaxation in Savasana.

This practice is all about releasing effort and creating space for rest. Props are highly recommended.

Beginners Yoga
A welcoming class focused on the fundamentals of yoga. We take things slowly, with plenty of explanation and time to move between postures.

Perfect for those new to yoga, anyone who enjoys a gentler pace, or those returning to practice after some time away. Everyone is welcome.

I’ve been practising yoga for nearly 25 years, and my teaching is shaped by the many styles, teachers, and experiences I’ve encountered along the way.

Over time, I’ve become less focused on achievement and more interested in connection… connection with the body, the breath, and the present moment.

My hope is that these classes offer a space where you can arrive exactly as you are. No pressure. No perfection. Nothing to achieve.

Just an opportunity to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

We spend so much of our lives rushing from one thing to the next that we often miss the quiet beauty that surrounds us.

A shaft of sunlight through a window.
Birdsong on a morning walk.
A kind word from a friend.
The smell of rain on warm pavement.

Mindfulness isn’t about finding something extraordinary. It’s about noticing what is already here.

✍️ This week’s journaling prompt:

What is something beautiful you’ve noticed recently that you might have overlooked in the past?

Take a few moments to reflect and write without judgement. Allow yourself to linger with the memories, sensations, and moments that come to mind.

You may be surprised by how much beauty has been waiting for your attention.

🏡 Finding Home in Yourself

In a world that constantly asks us to do more, achieve more, and be more, it can be easy to lose touch with ourselves.

This month’s online journaling class is an invitation to pause.

To step away from the noise.

To slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the person at the centre of it all: you.

Together, we’ll spend an hour creating space to arrive exactly as we are. Through mindfulness, guided journaling, and meditation, we’ll gently explore what it means to find a sense of home within ourselves.
