We are well used to Helen receiving inquiries from runners wanting advice on how Bexters Soda Crystals might alleviate a swollen knee or ankle after an event or intensive training.
Now we read of a 'harmful' TikTok running trend that has seen a rise in knee injuries, in particular, due to so-called 'runfluencers' offering advice to newbies and even selling unproven training courses via social media.
Our advice is not to fall for these seemingly 'cool' videos and head for your local running club instead. Nothing beats professional advice from experienced runners and a properly planned, steady programme of training. Perhaps start with a weekend Park Run and see how you go.

Bexters Soda Crystals are much more than your average pain relief product. Our award-winning crystals work by drawing out fluid from a swollen or inflamed area to aid the healing process.

Option 1: Apply crystals using our purpose-designed applicator wrap over swollen knee, ankle or wrist. Overnight the wrap will become wet as fluid is absorbed thanks to the crystals natural 'hygroscopic' quality. Wash and dry the wrap and repeat as necessary.

Option 2: For feet that feel heavy, tired and puffy after a run or a long day in heels, tip a generous tablespoon of Bexters into warm water and soak.

Q We are often asked how Bexters Soda Crystals actually work?
A The crystals are naturally 'hygroscopic' - which means they absorb moisture.

Applying the crystals in our purpose-designed wrap over a swollen knee, ankle or wrist has been shown to draw out the excess fluid that accumulates to protect the injured area, and so help quicken the healing process.

In Australia, home of Bexters, the crystals have been used for over 50 years as a treatment of choice by athletes, physiotherapists, complementary therapists and others to relieve symptoms and accelerate recovery.
