Whether you want to join one of our popular beginner classes in Peterborough or need personal advice on your running and training then we can help you at run4fun. We are able to help all age groups, whether junior or senior runners and whether you are just beginning or have been running for many years and need a fresh look at your training, be it perhaps a new training programme, a review of targe

t times or races. Whether you aspire to simply lose some weight, be a little fitter, complete a local fun run or run a marathon one day, we can help you achieve your target.

Many thanks for all the interest and sign ups for the Run4Fun beginners group starting next Monday at WSC at 18.00.
There are still a few vacancies though, if anyone is interested but unsure. It really is for absolute beginners and you'll be made very welcome.

Is anyone interested in an 8 week Run4Fun beginners group starting on Monday 4th August 18.00-19.00 on the playing fields at Werrington Sports Centre Peterborough?
Led by a fully qualified EA Coach the aim will be to help any complete beginner go from 0 to 5k and take part in a local parkrun or the Anna's Hope Great Eastern Run 5k fun run at the end of the 8 weeks.

I've had a few enquiries about when the next Run4Fun group might start for absolute beginners so this is a call out to see what interest there might be?

The group would follow our tried and tested formula of 8 x 1hr sessions on Monday evenings meeting at 5.45pm outside Werrington Sports Centre Peterborough & aim to have everyone able to run 5km or for 30mins at the end of 8 weeks.

I'm looking at starting on either the 2nd or 9th June and the full 8 weeks would cost just £25ppn.

Over the last two weeks the latest Run4Fun beginners group have successfully completed their "graduation" 5k run at the Ferry Meadows parkrun.

Congratulations to them all, you were amazing!
This was our biggest group post Covid and just brilliant to see everyone discovering the joys of running.

So Christmas is over and the New Year is here, who has set a New Year's resolution to get a bit fitter and maybe even run 5km before Easter?

Well Run4Fun can help you with our next 8 week beginners group starting on Monday 15th January at 17.45, meeting outside the Werrington Sports Centre, Peterborough.

The one hour sessions over 8 weeks will take you from 0 to 5k or 30 minutes non stop running in a friendly, stress free, non competitive environment.
The course is particularly directed at complete beginners who say "I can't run", well we'll show you that actually you can!

This year’s much-anticipated Great Eastern Run is now less than two months away!!

Organisers Good Running Events Ltd. are looking for volunteers to help at the event - all volunteers will receive a briefing ahead of the race, as well as a hi vis to wear - along with a goodie bag and a free race credit for a future event.

Thank you to everyone who shared, liked or asked about the next Run4Fun beginners group, following my recent post.
We've now set the start date as Monday 18th September, meeting outside Werrington Sports Centre at 5.45pm. 8 x 1hr sessions for just £25.
I'll be there a little earlier to complete registration forms, everyone is welcome, but it really is targeted at absolute complete beginners.

It's that time of year when I start to think about the next Run4Fun beginners group, starting in mid September. Probably the 11th or 18th at 17.45, meeting outside Werrington Sports Centre. 8 weeks, taking absolute beginners from run a minute, walk a minute to 5km without stopping. £25 for the full 8 x 1hour sessions.
