The goal was simple!

✅ focus on eating whole foods with treats here and there - not the other way around 🙈

✅ higher daily protein intake

✅ Eating enough and regularly to avoid excessive snacking

✅ Creating a healthier relationship with food with limited restriction

Now Brook’s wedding dress is too big and needs to be taken in - a good problem to have! 😂

Our client Jackie showing us consistency still works even when you’re menopausal ✨

Jackie started with us back in October 2025 and since then has lost over 30lbs and plenty of inches too. With a structured diet plan and training program of walking five days a week it’s safe to say Jackie hasn’t missed a beat.

Progress on hormone replacement therapy will often be slower, but not impossible. I think in the whole time we’ve been coaching, she has checked in every week apart from one when she was away just last week. She is now in a great spot, but also an expensive one as she needs to replace her entire wardrobe 💃 😂

Jackie has recently retired, but up until about a month ago she was still working and fitting the plan around her lifestyle and she always made it work. It’s lovely to see her so happy and confident. We keep going as always as Jackie still has big goals for later this year.

Will your coaching journey always start with fat loss? 💭

Honestly no. We want to be really clear on this.

For most of our girls who join us, we’re undoing a lifetime of rubbish habits.

😱Skipping breakfast
😭Eating 1 full meal a day
🥴Having a monster or coffee before any water

If this sounds like you, read on as this is the part most people don’t really know ⬇️

Healthier habits are built when food is abundant, not when it’s lower than it needs to be.

But why?

Food focus and noise is higher in a calorie deficit, so building those new habits at this point will be even harder unnecessarily.

So what do we do instead?

Start you at maintenance calories focusing on whole foods that will make you feel better and keep you fuller for longer.
And don’t forget about proper hydration too!

Don’t be surprised if you see a drop on the scales though, this will be water weight to begin with 💦

HRT & FAT LOSS 🤔

Client L has an extremely busy and stress filled life like most! She has no thyroid and is on hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

Scale weight has been almost irrelevant at this stage of her life to a degree on her plan, and when we sent her these progress pictures, she understood why. Changes cannot always be seen on the scale and they do not tell the full story.

After plenty of time with us now, she’s prioritising healthy meals, fueling her body and training with us 3 times a week too💪

I think it is fair to say her progress pictures tell her story and we’ve just started implementing more strength training going forward too 💖

The journey worth taking is never the easiest, but Client L keeps ticking the boxes each week 👏🏻

Story time 📖

What happened when one of our newly postpartum mums said she was feeling guilty for going to the gym and was missing out on precious moments? 🥹

Those moments are not meant to be missed, especially in those early few months. She explained although she felt guilty, she loved her gym sessions and wanted to go as they were helping her to feel more herself again.

There is no right or wrong. We’re all different and if getting back to you is a priority after having a baby that’s ok. But if you want to prioritise those special bath times that’s ok too. Who says you can’t do both!

We absolutely love working new mums, and reminding them they are capable of chasing their own goals and being an incredible mum all at the same time 💖
