Thanks to everyone who came from near and far to attend our instructor development workshop in Peterborough on Sunday 19 April 2026. Attendees ranged from beginner students to senior instructors. It was a great opportunity to learn and to share practice, questions, thoughts and experiences with old and new Tai Chi friends. Special thanks to the members who helped with all the tasks needed to make a workshop happen and to Ron Rotteau who led us through the day.

We welcomed 65 people to our Peterborough location for a workshop last Sunday, October 19th. Carole Martin from Almonte made a presentation about fascia and how the fascial network is affected by aging. She reminded us how consistent practice of Mr. Moy’s tai chi can be an excellent vehicle for maintaining and improving our fascial health as we age.

During the second half of the afternoon, Ron Rotteau from Peterborough led us through several foundation exercises with a view to becoming more aware of our fascia as we practice.
