Move over banana bread there’s a new kid in town!😍😍 These banana oat flapjacks are suitable for those on steps 3 and above (more likely the higher steps due to the calorie value!)
Coming in at 217kcal per flapjack these are too yummy to miss!
Ingredients •1 ripe banana (mashed) •40g butter (low fat)
•60g crunchy peanut butter I used •50g maple syrup I used maple syrup
•150g rolled oats
•1/2 teaspoon cinnamon for flavour
Method
•Put the butter and peanut butter in a bowl, microwave for 30 seconds then fully combine.
• Add in the Maple syrup, mashed banana and cinnamon, combine fully. •Stir in oats ensuring they are completely covered.
•Tip into a baking paper lined baking tray, cook at 180degrees for 13-15 mins, take out of the oven, cut into 6 portions and leave to cool. •Tips: you can add chocolate chips or dried fruits to these flapjacks, the calories will need to be added to the 217 per biscuit. • Make this plant based by switching butter for coconut oil! •I served mine with a 5g tsp of chocolate orange spread and it was 😍 (calorie value for this is 242kcal per position!!
