This client has been having IPL for rejuvenation, acne and pigmentation, alongside a 20% AHA peel as part of her treatment plan.

She’s prone to post-picking pigmentation, and while there has been a recent picking episode (because habits can be hard to break), the overall progress is still moving in the right direction 🤍

What we’re seeing is:
✔️ Improved overall skin texture
✔️ Fewer widespread breakouts
✔️ Pigmentation healing lighter and faster than before
✔️ Skin recovering more efficiently after flare-ups

The 20% AHA peel plays an important role here by encouraging healthy cell turnover, smoothing texture and helping post-inflammatory pigmentation fade more quickly — especially helpful for skin that’s been picked or inflamed.

Photo 2: Immediately after the lift — a little more curl than intended,.and I'll be upfront, as a technician new to this method, some incorrect lash placement on the shield.

Lash lifts aren’t one-size-fits-all, and sometimes the most important part of the service is knowing when to adjust.

In this case, I felt the initial lift was too strong for my client’s natural lashes, so instead of leaving a result I wasn’t 100% happy with, I carried out a gentle relax to prioritise:

✔️ Lash health
✔️ Balance
✔️ A softer, more wearable finish

I will always strive to get my clients the best results I can and always be transparent, even if that means getting you back in for correction.
