Dear valued clients, friends and peoples!
I am ecstatic and relived to announce that mahila Auricula Acupuncture & Holistic Massage Therapy will be reopening at 28 Marlborough Street, following confirmed major structural repairs and a refurbishment inside. After careful consideration and reviewing client feedback, I will be signing a new lease with the landlord of the property to ensure mahila's ongoing presence in the community.
Whether you're returning or visiting for the first time, I look forward to welcoming you to a refreshed, safe, and comfortable environment. At mahila, your voice matters, and treatments are customised to meet your physical and emotional needs—not just a diagnosis. All treatments at mahila are holistically inspired & clinically delivered. Mahila continues to specialise in auricular acupuncture and holistic body massage, maintaining a strong commitment to helping clients achieve balance and wellbeing. Each treatment is thoughtfully designed from a clinical standpoint, ensuring that every session addresses your unique needs with proven therapeutic methods. Simultaneously, therapies are provided holistically bringing warmth, intuition, and respect for your mind, body, and spirit to each appointment. If you're new to my practice, you'll find a welcoming space where expertise and compassionate touch combine to create a truly personalised experience.
Congratulations on making it this far! This is quite a wordy post 😊
Now comes an exciting bit , the launch: Stitch in the Ditch.
As some of you may know! I enjoy sewing, though I'm not an expert. but it is a passion.
So while the shop undergoes repairs and a renovation, this presents an ideal opportunity to launch Stitch in the Ditch.
I want to share with you, that I will be hosting community sewing sessions twice a month at mahila! -one during the day and another in the evening—as a trial, with the possibility of adding more dates if there is greater interest. These sessions are open to everyone regardless of whether you enjoy hand stitching or using a sewing machine. I appreciate that cost can sometimes be a concern, so while there is a small participation fee, please do let me know if this would prevent you from joining, and I will do my utmost to accommodate you. The heart of these gatherings is to create a warm and inclusive space where people can come together, connect, share skills, swap stories, and embark on creative projects in the company of others. There will be no formal teaching, but you can always expect encouragement and support from fellow attendees. I am genuinely looking forward to welcoming a new creative space within mahila, I am looking forward to welcoming you to mahila’s renewed creative space. My hope is that you’ll feel comfortable, included, and at ease here—where we can share ideas, connect, and enjoy each other's company in a relaxed, friendly setting.
I’d love to bring together a friendly, creative group where we can share our passion for sewing and give back to the community. Maybe even hosting fun kids’ workshops during the holidays! Everyone’s welcome, and I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together.
