Plymouth Energy Community (PEC) are running the 'Keeping Warm Enough With Cancer' energy session for us again. It's the third time running it and previously it's had brilliant feedback. It's all about why keeping warm enough is really important, has some brilliant tips and advice as well as understanding how PEC can help people.

Just get in touch to book a place.

If you're not a Cancer Champion but might be interested in coming along let us know - if there's space you'd be most welcome 🙂

A lovely connection made last week 💛

At our recent cancer awareness event, Sam from S & E Catering kindly provided the cupcakes. Andy, one of cancer champions, wasn't able to attend, so we made sure one of Sam's cupcakes found its way to him.

What makes this even more special is how much these two have in common. Andy is well known for being a Northern Soul DJ as well as a tattoo artist. He runs fundraising events raising both awareness and funds for Macmillan while bringing people together through music and community.

Sam is a cancer survivor herself, has also raised money for charity through her Northern Soul Against Cancer tattoo and is now planning a Northern Soul owl tattoo on her back. She is also looking to become a Cancer Champion soon.

Two people with big hearts, a passion for helping others, and strong links to the Northern Soul community.

Keep an eye on both pages and show them some support! 💛🦉🎶🧁
