Lip filler isn’t always about bigger lips 💗
For this lovely client, treatment was about symmetry, balance and confidence.
She had scar tissue within her lower lip which affected its natural shape and symmetry — something that had caused insecurity for much of her life. Our goal wasn’t to create a completely different pair of lips or simply add volume. It was to carefully work with her existing anatomy to create a softer, more balanced appearance while still keeping the result natural.
Cases like this are also a perfect example of why lip filler is never one-size-fits-all and why you need to choose an experienced and confident injector.
Scar tissue behaves differently to normal lip tissue. It can alter the way the lip moves, how the tissue accepts filler and where product can safely and effectively be placed. Understanding the underlying structure, recognising those limitations and adapting the treatment technique accordingly is incredibly important.
These were more complex lips to treat — and I knew that before I even picked up the syringe.
For some people, aesthetic treatments aren’t about chasing perfection, They’re about addressing something that has affected their confidence for years and finally feeling a little more comfortable in their own skin. 🫶🏼 That’s what makes my job worthwhile!
Choose your practitioner for their knowledge and experience, not just their price or how many followers they have.
And just look at those results 🥹🤍
