As healthcare professionals, we are required to keep learning throughout our careers, this is called continued professional development (CPD) and is important in keeping our knowledge up to date and our practice safe. I am attending The Primary Care Show in Birmingham this week as part of my CPD. We can attend lectures, network with other health care professionals, buy new equipment and watch demonstrations. It’s a great way to learn and reconnect with my Podiatry community 😊

Another lovely morning with Jo, Volunteering for Forgotten Feet 👣. We are absolutely desperate for donations of Men’s shoes. A lot of the foot problems we see, can be solved with dry shoes and socks, something homeless people are often without. If you have any unwanted men’s shoes, socks or other clothing, and would like to donate them, please send me a message and I will arrange collection. Thank you to my wonderful patients who have already donated, these items are greatly appreciated. ☺️

Had a lovely morning volunteering for Forgotten Feet. There are a lot of cold, wet feet at the moment, so any donations of socks and shoes are very much appreciated, men’s in particular. Everyone I saw today had a nice, clean, dry, warm pair of socks to put on after treatment ❤️🦶
