Today is National Cancer Survivors Day, a day that holds special meaning for all of us at Phoenix EMS. 💙

Our Operations Director has personally faced the challenge of blood cancer and come through the other side. It was not an easy journey, and it gave us a deeper understanding of the impact cancer has—not only on those diagnosed, but also on the families, friends, and loved ones who stand beside them every step of the way.

That is why it is such a privilege for us to support events like the Cancer Research Hike and play a small part in the ongoing fight against cancer. We stand alongside survivors, families, researchers, healthcare professionals, and the many organisations working tirelessly to make a difference.

Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and courage of everyone that has faced cancer. Your journeys inspire us all.

Despite the wind and rain, our teams were out across the weekend ensuring that all attended events remained safe and well supported 🌧☂️

Supporting the Duck Race in Andover was definitely one of our more “quacking” ideas… 🦆💦

Who knew so much excitement could come from hundreds of rubber ducks floating downstream while fully grown adults shouted encouragement like it was the Olympics? 🏁😂

A huge thank you to everyone who joined in, supported the event, and helped make it such a fantastic day for a great cause. Shame it was too hot 🔥 but en enjoyable day none the less!

Very prompt responses to all emails. Drove 50 miles to meet me for the site recce. Turned up on the day in immaculate uniforms and with an ambulance. Very personable. Very good value for money. Fortunately, there were no casualties needing treatment on the day of our public event but the Pheonix EMS...
