A huge thanks again form Vibe Lurgan for my fave veg soup 🍲

Again would not accept payment..so very kind ❤️

Can't wait until I'm out and eating properly again and have one of their amazing chip bowls 😋

Over the past few weeks I have been craving homemade veg soup from Vibe Lurgan , and I have had Aine Hoye Douglas tortured 🤣

So yesterday Aine sent a wee video saying the soup would be on today.

So I sent Ciaran in with a big flask and they filled it with veg soup 😋 and I ordered an extra one for my dad who also loves veg soup..and Aine very kindly gifted me both orders of soup ❣️

And omg I had 3 bowls of it tonight with 2 slices of wheaten bread..it was so good 😊

So if you're about Lurgan you need to visit here , some of the best food in the town .

Proper homemade food ..thanks guys I really appreciated it ..that's the most I have ate in one sitting 🤣 just shows you how good it was .

Cutting ✂️ my hair off today ...I'm not brave enough to go bald yet so my plan and hopefully it works is to do it gradually..cut it super short and see how it goes ..I actually really love it 🤣 but if needed I will shave it off the next time 🙏 Thanks to Sinead and Tanya for sorting this out today for me xx

UPDATE 🔊🔊🔊DAY 39

I'm still here 🤪 no sign of getting out yet.

So Friday I had my 2nd anti viral treatment and it wiped me off my feet ..I was in bed all day yesterday feeling awful.

Thankfully today I'm feeling a bit better and even managed to eat a bit of Sunday dinner..I'm still losing weight..and don't have a mirror to see how much and it's hard to judge when you're in pjs most days !!

So hopefully I will get my 2nd cycle of chemo tomorrow...pls god I'm not as sick as before 🙏... I'm sick of feeling sick all the time 🤢

My hair is coming out so much is unreal..so although I have been wearing wigs for over a year as my hair had started coming out last year, this is different!! It's harder to accept and also it's coming out in other places too ..🤣

So a quiet day today with a few visitors due ..and get myself ready for treatment tomorrow 🤞

Will keep you posted over the next few days as to what is happening 😊

Update ..Day 31 😱😱😱

Well guys what a few days I have had ..omg I have never felt as ill.

So I have a chest infection which I get all the time as I have asthma..but wow who knew that having no immune system would floor you.

So I also have some kind of virus , and the virologist team in Belfast made a cocktail of meds which seemingly they only make a few times of year and sent it up to help clear things up .

Was on 2 types of antibiotics..1 thankfully finished today and the other tomorrow.

My temperature 🌡️ was spiking between 38-39 degrees every 6/8 hrs which was wiping me out too . It's settled to now about every 18/24 hrs.

More blood taken !

So 3 days of feeling awful and if someone has offered to put me out of my misery I would have accepted..and couldn't eat a bite was on fluids as I wasn't even up to drinking and they where watching my kidneys.

So god love the staff where trying everything to get me to eat but everything turned me ..one nurse brought me a wee jelly and I was able to just shovel 🪏 it in without tasting or chewing etc just to get something into my belly as all the tablets I'm on even are ripping my insides, and the anti sickness ones were doing nothing!!

But the jelly was a great idea I ate 2 yesterday..woke this morning felt a bit better..ate a slice of toast, about 4 mouthfuls of dinner and some ice-cream today and it was so good to not hear my belly rumbling 😀

I have lost so much weight..1stone since I got in here , and I'm at a weight I was when I was in my early 20:s 🤣

Who knew not eating would also make you feel so weak ?

So this evening I'm now feeling that bit better again and hopefully tomorrow I will have turned the corner and be on the right road as I have my treatment again on Friday 😱

And as a lovely extra bonus my hair is coming out in clumps 🤪
But I promise I won't do the bald look, some people really suit it but not me ..I will stick to my wigs once I'm out of here 😀

So it's night From me and 🤞 that tomorrow I will feel better again 😊

UPDATE

Sorry I haven't been on but I have been feeling pretty crap !!

I started to spike a temperature a few days ago and it's been constant every 6-8 hrs , temp is between 38-39 degrees.

Feels like having the worst flu ever !!

Because my immune system is so low I'm prone to catching things.

So have had MRI this week for my brain so no cancer there ..thank god 🙏

Yesterday had a CT scan and turns out I have a chest infection which is causing me to feel so crap ..it really just floors me.

So I'm on 2 different antibiotics , and paracetamol once the temp spikes


Today I'm hooked up to 10hrs of fluids for my kidneys, and they are going to put up an anti viral drip to help with the temperatures.

But the best news from the CT scan is the tumor in the front of my chest has shrunk from 11cm to 3cm after only 1 treatment so that's great news 🙏

The sickness is awful.. I'm the lightest I have been since I was in my 20's ..though I don't recommend this weight loss program 🤣

So my next treatment is today week and looks like I will be here until it's done and see how I react to it ..but I don't mind ..I think I have become institutionalized🤣🤣

So that's everything to date .

Thanks to everyone for prayers,masses, candles lit and some lovely guy called Phillip, the nurse, didn't catch your surname brought me in a beautiful photo of Paddy the Robyn ..I love Robyn's ❤️

So pls god this infection clears off as I think I would be more like myself and maybe get my appetite back 🙏
