π§ββοΈβ¨ Next step on my yoga journey β¨π§ββοΈ
Iβm so looking forward to travelling to Spain tomorrow for an intensive Yin Yoga training with Becky & The Shanti Atma Family β€οΈπΏ
What is Yin Yoga?
Unlike active, flowing styles of yoga, Yin Yoga is slow, quiet and deeply restorative. Poses are held for 2β5 minutes, so you can fully relax your muscles. This lets the stretch reach deep into the body β working on connective tissues, fascia, ligaments, joints and deep structures, not just surface muscles.
Itβs a practice of surrender, not effort: it releases long-held tension, improves flexibility, eases stiffness in the hips, spine and legs, calms the nervous system, and brings stillness and peace to the mind.
When I return, my goal is to teach with confidence, clarity and heart β to hold gentle, safe space and help people feel more balanced, relaxed and at ease in both body and mind.
