✨ World Yoga Day Reflections ✨
As we celebrate World Yoga Day, I’ve been reflecting on just how much yoga has enriched my life.
When I first stepped onto a yoga mat many years ago, I had no idea how profoundly it would shape my journey. What began as a physical practice has evolved into a way of life, offering me strength, healing, purpose, connection, and endless opportunities for growth.
Over the years, my teaching has evolved too. From dynamic Vinyasa Flow classes to the softer, nurturing practices of Yin Yoga following my hip replacement, yoga has continually met me exactly where I needed it most. It has taught me resilience, patience, self-compassion, and the importance of listening to my body.
I feel incredibly grateful to have expanded my offerings into Kundalini Yoga, KundaDance, Meditation, Reiki, Chakra Balancing, and Sound Healing, supporting others on their own journeys of transformation and wellbeing.
Yoga has taken me to some incredible places around the world. I’ve taught in beautiful studios, on beaches, in jungles, at festivals, retreats, wellness centres, and luxury spas. I’ve shared practices in Thailand, Bali, Spain, Tuscany, and many other inspiring locations, connecting with wonderful souls from all walks of life.
One of the greatest gifts has been the community it has brought into my life. For the past six years, I’ve also run a virtual yoga studio, staying connected with students from all over the world including Belgium, Tuscany, Spain, England, and Scotland. Even across oceans and time zones, yoga continues to bring us together.
Most importantly, yoga has taught me gratitude. Gratitude for my health, for the lessons, for the friendships, for the challenges that have helped me grow, and for the privilege of doing work that I truly love.
Today, I simply want to say thank you to every teacher, student, friend, and soul who has been part of this journey.
🙏 I’d love to hear from you…
How has yoga enhanced your life? What are you most grateful for on your yoga journey?
Happy World Yoga Day.
