That means even more opportunities to pop in for free, friendly breastfeeding support, have a chat with one of our peer supporters and get the support you need. 🤱🏽👶🏻🤱🏿

💜 Do you think you could help support another family on their breastfeeding journey?

We are recruiting 12 new volunteers to train as breastfeeding peer support helpers in Portsmouth.

If you have your own lived experience of breastfeeding or expressing, and would love to use that experience to support other local families, this could be the opportunity for you.

🌱 You will be trained to provide friendly, compassionate and non-judgemental peer support to families in Portsmouth.

We will arrange your DBS check at no cost to you

💜 Some lived breastfeeding or expressing experience is essential. Priority will be given to applicants living within the Portsmouth postcode area.

All we ask you to have is your own experience, a willingness to learn, and a desire to support other families.

Sometimes it’s really hard. Sometimes it’s exhausting. Sometimes you’re lying there at 3am, baby attached to your b**b, wondering “Am I actually doing this right?"

The summer holidays are coming to an end, which means it is nearly time to get back to our usual timetable🎉

We have loved seeing so many of you out and about over the summer, but we are looking forward to getting back to our regular groups and seeing lots of familiar faces and plenty of new ones too! 🥰

There is just one little Bank Holiday Monday to get through first… and then it’s back to business as usual 🙌

As always, our groups are free, everyone is welcome and no booking is needed (apart from for our Wednesday online slots) just come along and see us 💜
